Hello everyone,

I'm running into an irritation after migrating a half dozen beanstalk applications into terraform.

I'm wondering if anyone has found a good approach that uses terraform to manage the construction of beanstalk
environments yet still plays well with the use of the aws "eb" tool to perform deployments.

After deploying a new application to an eb environment with the command line tool, subsequent terraform runs treat the application version as configuration drift, which it wants to fix.

Anybody have a process they like ?  Ideally there would be some way to tell terraform not to worry about the version_label attribute of an aws_elastic_beanstalk_environment resource.

Thanks,

Michael

Thanks Lowe,

This is the last straw.  I've been using terraform for 18 months and I'm still coming across new features.  I'm going to spend the day tomorrow reading docs from beginning to end !
