Terraform Windows 10 installation

Hi group;

I have downloaded terraform to my windows 10 laptop. I unzipped the files & ran the .exe. I am not sure if it is working however. The terraform screen runs & then disappears right away. I do not see it running in my tasks window. 

Any help is greatly appreciated

Terraform is a command line application. I suggest you open a cmd or powershell window first, then run terraform inside that.

The opensource version of terraform doesn't have a GUI so you must use a command line or powershell window to run it.

If you want a GUI interface for terraform, checkout Terraform Enterprise

Did you ever get this working?  I'm having the same issue on my Windows 10 at work.  It works at home just fine.  I'm guessing I have to be the Administrator.  The installation is failing, but unable to see the reason.

There is no installation as such, just one binary file and that is all that you need. Works for me on CentOS 7.5 and Windows 10 Enterprise. No issues. What error message are you guys getting?

And I assume you are running the binary from a command shell, not from Explorer
