Regarding unsecure log4j version in Terracotta Opensource version 3.7.10

Dear Sir,
We are using Terracotta (opensource version 3.7.10) for clustering two JVMs. Our software security team has flagged an issue related to the older versions of log4j (log4j-1.2.16.jar).
Kindly suggest how to upgrade to the latest version of log4j. We tried to just replace the older version of the JAR file with the latest version, but the Terracotta server could not start.
Actually, the package structure has been changed in the new version 2.x. Kindly suggest the path forward.
