Hi! I am currently analyzing the terracotta system and would appreciate it if someone can point me to the right resources regarding the following questions: (this is for Terracotta used with Ehcache 3)

1. I am particularly interested in learning about the leader (active server) election protocol and algorithm used when an active server goes down in the cluster. What does the entire lifecycle of the process look like?

2. Have there been any attempts previously to analyze the fault tolerance of the terracotta server with respects to network partitions? How does the system handle and react to it?

My sincere apologies if this is not the right place to ask the question!

Thanks!
