There is a link under the heading of charcoal production. The link
points to a document pulblished by the government that talks about the
process of making charcoal and includes some details about what
happens at various temperatures in the process. Very helpful and
detailed.

A new file has been added to the Files page. It is a review of
agrichar as an amendment. Written in January it has a wealth of
information. Take a look.

With thanks to David Yarrow, there are several new company listings on
the Resource Page. I've also created a Members Website/weblink page.
Let me know if you have a bio or website you would like posted for
others to see.

Cleaned up the Resource page. All of the references are now
hyperlinks. Should make things easier for folks to navigate.

After some discussion with folks, I'm retooling the Terra Preta google
group pages to focus more directly on the efforts specific to McClary
Hill Farm.
Without a doubt the most exhaustive and thorough site out there is
http://terrapreta.bioenergylists.org/. Make sure to visit this
website... an amazing amount of information can be found there.

Another handful of links for agrichar from the Science Friday page.
You can also listen online to the Science Friday show, it's not just a
podcast.

Added a page from David Yarrow on his efforts at incorporating
charcoal into soil. Nice description of various components of terra
preta soils, how they may have been created and the possible effects
of methods of manufacture.

Laura,
Will do. Sorry for the barrage. I had thought that there wasn't any
activity. There is the ability to change the email setting to one
where you get a daily digest instead individual emails. I will remove
you right away and if later the project strikes interest again, you
can rejoin.
Best wishes,
Dave

Folks,
It turns out that someone hacked the Resource page on the Terra Preta
Google Group. All of the links were forwarded to a pornographic
site. I have temporarily taken all of the information down and will
put it back up when I can get it cleaned up. Sorry for the offense,
if any has been taken.
There is a special place in a very warm spot for folks who create
viruses and hack webpages.
