i'm on webmail in central VT. just taught two workshops this weekend at two rivers center in montpelier with martin kemple. two batches of biochar saturday with three men from NH; 6th sense sunday. made a batch of biochar tonight at laura & bill's -- went well except the woodchips in the batch was wet and made lots of steam, but didn't char much -- but the other feedstocks were perfect.
off to tinmouth tomorrow to the farm that hosts the VT solarfest. next year we should have a few show n tell demo plots for the 2009 solarfest, and have workshops to actually teach people charcoal making.

next biochar workshop is sunday oct. 19 in wrentham MA, then up to temple NH to teach three classes, including biochar on sunday oct. 26. maybe i can get a ride over to epsom to see how your project is progressing, and to discuss strategy.
