Bingo Card Creator was in maintenance mode for approximately 48 weeks of the year again, with two experiments done with a site redesign and incorporation of direct ability to charge credit cards (via Stripe) rather than using Paypal or Google Checkout. The experiments were, taken together, a smashing success.
Bingo Card Creator makes bingo cards, mostly for elementary schoolteachers. It had far-and-away its best year ever, despite being in maintenance mode. This was largely driven by organic growth of the business and huge increases in conversion rates following the redesign and Stripe integrations, covered here. The differences are very apparent if you look at conversion rates for any month after May and compare it to the year previous, which is necessary since BCC traffic and sales are very heavily seasonal. Or you could, you know, just take a look at the sales graph.
Does anyone know of any tutorials for it? I mean it's simple enough to make cards, but I haven't seen them once while playing and I have no idea how to import textures so they kinda don't look all that great either. Do I need to get a separate mod to add them into the card pool or something?
Hey guys, I'm excited to share my progress on the custom card creator, a program I'm creating to make good look custom cards to share. This is still a work in progress, but I want to get it out asap for feedback, and so the community can hopefully start using it.
My goals is to keep updating with any features the community asks for, so please add me on Discord at .bobbyflobby or message me on Reddit with any bugs or things you would like added. As im just a solo developer, as of now the card maker is only a executable, by my goal is to release it as a website for ease of access.
Simply run the PvZHCCC Application to start, the left side of the program contains all the card options, and the left side includes an option for uploading your own card art, an option to save the image. If you cant see the image at first, press the generate button.
I was in a need to get creator information who actually created a card. Usually trello has actions associated with any event and that event contains the information who actually has performed that action. I was unable to find any resource to find the solution.
The Trading Card tool gives students an alternative way to demonstrate their literacy knowledge and skill when writing about popular culture texts or real world examples. This interactive allows students to create their own trading card about a real or fictional person, place, object, event, or abstract concept.
These cards are can be used with any type of book students are reading or subjects that they are studying, and make for an excellent prewriting exercise for students who are writing narrative stories and need to consider characters, setting, and plot. Specific prompts guide student through the various types of cards, expanding students' thinking from the basic information and description of the topic to making personal connections to the subject.
The save capability gives students a way to work on a draft of their card and come back to it to rework and revise as necessary, and to save their finished product to share with friends and family. Images can be uploaded into the card to give the finished product a complete and polished look.
Cards can be bundled into a single, small collection (8 card maximum) so that students have a way of sort and grouping similar topics in one file. As an example, we have provided a collection of cards about Shakespeare. Feel free to download the .rwt file (right click the link and pick Save As) and upload it into the Trading Card interactive to see how collections can be used in your classroom!

A few months ago a friend sent me an interesting Kickstarter campaign - The Story Engine, a card game of writing prompts, helping people generate new stories or challenge themselves to write short fiction about whatever they draw. It offered five kinds of cards, each presenting you with a few options to choose, even after the initial random drawing happened.
At some point I saw a blogpost of Peter Chiykowski, the creator of The Story Engine, sharing the PDFs of the game with all the educators and locked-in families for free! I downloaded them and tried them out - and quickly realized that while they're really well designed, even the eco version is really dark, not adjusted for b/w printers. I wrote to Peter asking if he can share his PSD files to make them really ink-friendly - and we started talking.
After a while we realized that better than making just another version of the deck, we can build a whole card generator webapp together, allowing people to create their own cards and edit existing ones, with different print settings. Peter designed the mockups and card backs & fronts, while I supplied my code.
The whole idea revolves around rendering a static-size A4 page and populating it with cards, then scaling it up and down depending on the user's viewport. This way the page can be printed directly to A4 and look the same - no margins, no funky font size changes or antialiasing. We don't need to generate a PDF out of it - most browsers will be able to do it for us!
The overall architecture of the app is quite simple: we have a Card component (which handles all cart logic) on a Page, which is then managed by PagesManager, displaying fronts and backs. On the left there's the LeftMenu controlling card, page, view and deck actions. Speaking of further development, breaking the LeftMenu is probably one of the biggest priorities, since it's quite a huge component.
Card Creator doesn't support mobile - or really small - viewport, since that would require a lot of design work. We could make the Left Menu a drawer and have it slide out on click, but that would stop users from easily seeing the changes they're making. We could scrap the menu totally and edit the cards inline - but that introduces even more design challenges.
I just purchased a 2021 24-inch iMac with macOS Big Sur version 11.5.2. I'm looking for an app to create greeting cards. I previously used Hallmark Card Studio, but it does not work with my new iMac. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I basically create cards for friends and family.
yes it has more card designs than you would ever want. The only issue is that they are on the Hallmark server so once in a while their server goes down and then the program will not function. The cards look very professional especially if you use heavy card stock paper. I also purchased colored envelopes from Amazon to complete any project.
