I recently watched the 2016 remake of Cabin Fever and finally finished watching all four of the films. I gotta say, I wasn't a big fan of the series as a whole. The idea of a grossly over-the-top, flesh-eating disease is awesome, but it was never put in the hands of the right director. I wouldn't recommend any of these films, but that's never stopped me from ranking a series before cough cough Leprechaun cough cough, so let's get started and rank these movies from worst to best. I think the order may surprise you.

The remake of Cabin Fever is one of the least necessary movies ever made. It uses the same script as the original film and does virtually nothing different. It's baffling that this movie was made at all. Sure, the gore is solid, it's at least competently made, and our protagonist doesn't molest anyone this time around. However, the characters are still stupid and make generally terrible decisions, which isn't the end of the world, but it's all of the same crap from the first movie. Why remake a film if you aren't going to do something different with the material?

It can be a very offputting fever-dream vibe where the person starts losing their grip on reality (something like Perfect Blue, black swan, bandersnatch, ect) or it culminates into a really trippy sequence (like everything everywhere all at once), or maybe even something confusing and strange but in a lighthearted way (like spirited away, howls moving castle, Alice in wonderland) or maybe even some psychological horror (like babadook)

Tickets for all movies are $10 each. Children ages two and younger are free of charge. Doors open 1 hour before showtime, and each screening will begin with a sing-along accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. Seating is general admission, first come, first served. Tickets are available in advance now through Ticketmaster.

While horror movies getting remade is obviously not a recent invention, it's rare to see one get redone only 13 years after the original proved to be a hit. Even less common is a remake using the exact same script as the original. Yet that's exactly what happened with Cabin Fever, and here's why.

Michael Kennedy is an avid movie and TV fan that's been working for Screen Rant in various capacities since 2014. In that time, Michael has written over 2000 articles for the site, first working solely as a news writer, then later as a senior writer and associate news editor. Most recently, Michael helped launch Screen Rant's new horror section, and is now the lead staff writer when it comes to all things frightening. A FL native, Michael is passionate about pop culture, and earned an AS degree in film production in 2012. He also loves both Marvel and DC movies, and wishes every superhero fan could just get along. When not writing, Michael enjoys going to concerts, taking in live professional wrestling, and debating pop culture. A long-term member of the Screen Rant family, Michael looks forward to continuing on creating new content for the site for many more years to come.

Parents need to know that this movie includes some strong and crude language, including at least three jokes about male sexual organs. There are sexual references and non-explicit sexual situations including (spoiler alert) a pregnancy scare. Characters drink (Ben tells Lindsay one thing he likes about her is that she drinks) and (briefly) smoke. It figures that after sixty degree weather in NYC last week, we get covered in a blanket of snow for winter break. In between bouts of playing outside, warm up to a great movie that you can actually enjoy with your kids. You know your Pixar movies, and you've seen Fantastic Mr. Fox, Coraline, and How to Train Your Dragon, right? Here are five overlooked movies to check out when you're stuck inside.

The film Saturday Night Fever was released 40 years ago this week, and soon became one of the biggest dance movies of all time. It also shot Travolta to fame and further solidified the Bee Gees' music careers.

Filming began in March 1977 outside the dance studio, and already the buzz in the area had reached a fever pitch. "I got a phone call from the production manager, and he said, 'This is chaos!' I came out and there were l0,000 kids on the streets, and we only have four security guys," remembered McCormick. "So we had to shut down for a couple of hours while we just regrouped and tried to figure out a way to make it work. It was the first time that we actually had a sense of who John was." Eventually they had to give up, because it was impossible to shoot. "There was no place you could point the camera without seeing l5,000 people. We'd have to put out fake call sheets and get out there at 5:30 in the morning."

10. Key Largo (1948). If any actor can give Cary Grant a run for his money, it would be Humphrey Bogart. Sure, everyone loves Casablanca and The Big Sleep, but for our money this tale of gangsters trapped in a hotel during a storm is the perfect remedy for cabin fever.

Further, his need to express himself enriches the uses to which he puts the purely technical aspects of a craft that, after all, can be learned by anybody, but that, in Lee's movies, look newly invented.

Beyond just experiencing the enjoyment of watching movies, Film Club is a place for people who want a deeper understanding of what they are actually looking at when watching a film and how that it was created to begin with. During the club meetings, members will get the chance to conduct scene analysis, where they will dissect a scene that they think was really important to the movie and talk about it in greater detail.

Morgan Allen arrives at her first national trade show expecting to make a splash and a ton of sales. She didn't expect her biggest rival, Shelby Howard, to be there, stealing her thunder and all her clients. Why couldn't Shelby just stay home and let Morgan have this one? After all, Shelby doesn't believe in her product, not like Morgan does. She's just successful because she's charming and magnetic with a killer smile and legs for days. Still, Morgan has a heart. When a major snowstorm cancels both their flights home and Morgan snags the last rental car, she offers Shelby a ride. That kindness turns into a nightmare when bad cell reception and a missed exit leaves them stranded in a secluded hunting cabin with a wrecked car and no way to call for help. The longer they're stuck together, the more their feelings grow. Could Morgan really be falling for the woman who might just cost her everything? And that's nothing compared to the question that plagues them both once they're finally rescued. Do they really have feelings for each other, or was it just cabin fever?
