Hi Folks,
I notice that many of the posts, and the last few commits are from three years ago.
Despite, I recently started experimenting with different 5 and 6 versions of OpenERP Server
on Ubuntu 12.04, with hopes that I could get the latest revision of the TERP curses client to
connect. I've had very little luck. I authenticate fine from TERP, but then am faced with a series
of errors.
This really is a great project, as there are still people like I who prefer text interfaces to GUIs.
Real shame that it hasn't seen much attention lately.
I use OpenERP at work, and we love it. I looked into this project back in 2010, with hope that it
would make further progress and issues would be solved. There is still a lot on the TODO.
I have one thing I'd like to ask the developer and the community here. Have any of you gotten
TERP to work at all? If yes, what version of OS, what version of Python, what version of OpenERP,
what version of curses, and what revision of TERP are you using to get such good results?
I posted in the issue tracker for the TERP project. My same issue has been repeated in about two other
issue tickets seen in that same list. I've provided a console dump showing my confusing TERP output.
Any assistance would be very appreciated. Thank you.
Brian
