Good evening,
After 3 years, it's probably a little late to meet you ...
I am convinced too there is a way for efficient computing.
The text interface can often be much more effective than the GUI.
Today, I'm even more blocked than you were 3 years ago because it is difficult to find the complete source TERP !!!
I plan to create a Linux distribution completely in text mode with a standard application pool in pure text mode (vt220 type) with exclusive development languages; python / perl + curses ncurses ...
