TheUnity Game engine is a fantastic tool but it's not my favorite. It can sometimes feel clunky and bloated to make a games with. But am I wrong? There's only one way to find out! I was challenge by YOU to make a 3D game using Unity and here's how it turned out. Will my thoughts change on the engine? Is Unity's Particle System too strong for Godot? Or will Unity break me one and for all...

This is less of a game and more of a prototype of what a RocketPods racing game could look like. If you actually want to play a real game that's much more polished, make sure to check out the real Rocketpods game here.

Hey Goodgis. I really wanted to play your game but it was impossible. The main menu scrolls on its own and once in game, the ship turns left on its own. I even tried unplugging every USB device I have but it didn't work. Nice job nonetheless

love the overall game, just some nitpicky detail(I don't want to be rude btw) there are some bumps on the road that you bounce on a little, probably a blender thing, and you should add a pause menu or a way to go back to home or something I tried using ESC but it didn't work

game looks legit but you didn't set the UI canvas settings right in unity goodgis, in different device the screen size is different. so bellow the rect transform you need to set the position, for an example for the ui that shows the current speed, you press the box bellow rect transform press alt and then chose the , left bottom from the 9 square's to make it on bottom left at the screen and then put it where you want

A few things, my best time is 3.3s because if you beat the game then play again and die it counts that as a full race. Also, more jumps would be cool, and there's one really hard long stretch without a check point. Also, sometimes the camera makes it hard to see the path ahead. Other than that, super cool!

Note: Pre-Octane apps, by default, have component templates in app/templates/components. As a result, you will see app/templates/components/tags.hbs instead of app/components/tags.hbs. In Octane apps, app/resolver.js is no longer present.

The classic project provides the easiest way to get started with Ember. It's the easiest way to generate files using Ember CLI. Addons should only use the classic structure for compatibility with either classic or pods-based consuming applications.

Developers who choose the pods structure will need to do more of their file management by hand, and there can be unexpected edge cases, so new Ember users are encouraged to use the classic file structure instead.

Ember projects do not have to be either classic or pods-based. They can also be mixed projects. By default, if the Ember Resolver cannot find a file in the pod structure, it will look for it in the classic structure.

If you start with a classic project, you can switch to the pods-based filesystem as your project grows without changing the existing classic filesystem. You can migrate the classic structure in the future, as time allows.

As stated previously, with pods developers need to do more to manage their file structure. The Ember Resolver can manage a classic, pods-based or mixed app but there can be edge cases with a mixed app.

Rather than keep your resource directories on the root of your app, you can create a pods directory and specify its path as the attribute podModulePrefix within config/environment.js The pods path should use the following format: appname/poddir.

In SMAX 2019.05 those pods are controlled by a deployment and since your error is about a missing config file and if you have a similar deployment running on the NFS server then you can copy the missing config file from still running deployment into the failing pod folder.

Problem was, the Content.cfg in the deployment was not there either, so there was no way to get the file from the enviroment, at the end i took the files from another enviroment which had the same version and the problem disappeared. I really don't know any other way to get those files without reinstalling or getting them from another source, neither what was the cause of the problem. I leave a capture from the pods that failed.

I have simulated the similar issue on my test system by intentionally deleting the Content.cfg from the NFS server. I got the same error message in the pod log file

The only way for me to get the pod back up and running again was to copy the Content.cfg file from another working system on the same version.

I would suggest trying same solution for at least one pod and see if that works for you. Below are the exact paths of the Content.cfg file for each of your failing pod

You might want to submit a support case for an RCA. It is unclear why your config file suddenly disappeared from the NFS. I had to delete the file myself to be able to observe the same behaviour

This gauge features LED backlighting which results in an ultra-bright display that delivers clear and vivid readouts. On or off, the gauge will look great courtesy of the black gauge face and magnified lens which are at the heart of this Gauge Series. By connecting the orange wire from the power harness to the factory headlight switch, you can dim the gauge 30% when the headlights are on.

Decided to sell my Chassis Unlimited Octane front bumper. I ran with this for approximately two years while living in SoCal but have since relocated to Orlando. It's a solid bumper that is very low-profile and doesn't stick out in front very far like most other off road bumpers do. It also has the parking sensor cutouts which is an additional charge from the manufacturer, but I'm keeping my sensors. So you'll need to swap yours over from you current bumper.

I'm also including 4 KC HiLites C-series light pods, and a 30 inch Rough Country black series light bar. I don't have the full lengths of the wires that connect the lights to a switch, but I typically cut those off and wire up my own wires anyways. If needed, you can buy them from KC and Rough Country.

Minor wear marks in a couple places from the California deserts and mountains, but nothing serious. The biggest mark is on the top of the bumper where the grill rests on the top. There's a light rust mark that can be hit with a quick mist of spray paint if it bothers you, or is fine to be left. It can't be seen once mounted as the grill rests on top of this spot.

N2 - Despite the potential of high octane number (ON) gasoline in knocking prohibition and fuel efficiency improvement, its application to the existing engines requires recalibration to release its full advantages, where the optimal control parameters, constrained by knock intensity, are re-modification. To reduce experimental efforts for obtaining knock intensity, this paper proposes a knock intensity modeling approach of fine-tuning transfer learning based on multilayer perceptron for the engine fueled with high-ON gasoline. The multilayer perceptron model is pre-trained with the experimental data of the engine fueled with the base gasoline (92#), which have been obtained during the previous engine development and thus consume no more experimental efforts. Then, the model is fine-tuned with the experimental data of the high-ON gasoline (98#) by freezing the first two hidden layers and updating the weights and biases of the last four hidden layers. By a comprehensive study, the results demonstrate that the developed approach can achieve competitive prediction accuracy whilst significantly reducing experimental efforts for 30% of 98# data.
