Hello,

I really want to start to use tern in vim with YouCompleteMe and Tagbar (jcstags) but it does not work for my project. With libraries like Math I do get all the completion but for my own project (consisting of 5 git repositories dumped in one folder) it seems like tern does understand the code. Can anyone help me to start debugging this? Where can I start checking what the problem might be? I tried to mess around a bit with the .tern-project file but it does not seem to make a lot of difference.

Thanks

I have been trying to run "tern --verbose" to see what was going on. Whenever I try to complete something in VIM I see that it gets triggered but the "completions" remain empty ...

It sounds like you failed to load some definitions needed to get the
completions you wanted. Try completing `Arr` and see if Array comes
out. That is available no matter what. To get browser environment
completions, you need to load the "browser" definitions, etc. See the
project configuration part of the manual.
