Job Title: Application Consultant (Core Java and API)
Location: Manassas, VA
Duration: Contract
The developer have 10+ year Experience , he will play a key role in defining and delivering automated platform installation and configuration.
The role requires a diverse domain knowledge but specifically the analyst must be proficient in Ansible, GIT and Container.
Scope of Work:
· Development of container based application, deployment and managing the lifecycle
· Monitoring and securing container ecosystem tools like Sysdig, TwistLock, Elastic Beats, APM
· Managing container platform ecosystem like Docker, Kubernetes and/or Openshift
· Develop and maintain application software by leveraging knowledge of computer science and software development principles and utilizing Agile, UNIX, Linux, REST API, Python, Java, , Java Script, Shell Script
· Core Java - Specialist
· Rest API (Springboot) - Specialist
· Python scripting - Junior
· Some exposure to Docker and/or Kubernetes and/or Openshift – 2-3 years
· Candidate must be familiar with Rapid Software Delivery (Agile/Scrum approach)
