Prerequisites are pretty simple, you must be familiarly with the GNU/
Linux command line and running simple commands and indeed a BASH
terminal preferably on a GNU/Linux OS.

The syllabus in short :

0. Why shell scripting ?
1. Getting Started.
2. The Shell Variables.
3. Conditionals Execution.
4. Bash Loops.
5. Shell Redirection.
6. Pipes and Filters.
7. Traps.
8. Functions.
9. Interactive Scripts.

The class timings as mentioned in the previous post would be on every
Saturdays, starting from Sat Jul 9 09:30:00 UTC 2010, depending on
the level of expertise of the candidate the entire duration of class
one of the course would be decided.
