However, before you attempt to repair as below, could you give us some details on the situation when it happened?
Go to Documents/ElectronicArts - inside will be The Sims4 folder
Step 1. Rename The Sims4 folder to "The Sims4 old"
Step 2. Fix the game in Origin
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Step 3. Turn on the game - a new game folder will be created and you will have two - one old, one new
Step.4. Take random sim and start a new game. Check if you still have this problem in the newly created game folder
If the problem disappeared
Step 5. Delete in the new game folder following folders:
"saves" and Tray.
Step 6. Go to "The Sims 4 old" folder and copy - your "saves " folder.
Step. 7 Paste this folder in a newly created game folder.
Step 8. Do the same with Tray folder
Step 9. Turn on the game, go to your save and check if all is OK now
Step.10 If all is OK - delete The Sims4 old folder. Now you will have only one game folder which- I hope - is working properly.
I don't work for EA

so I followed those steps went in made a new vampire and still can not get duel. am I doing something wrong? I click on the vampire, go to the vampire part and it shows offer training and other things but nothing about dueling

Edit: There is also a vampire fight option under the mean menu. And there is an age restriction in that a teen vampire can only spar with another teen while YA and above can spar with other age groups.

turns out if she is she can't spar till the baby is born. in all the messages I've seen posted none mention if the sim is male or female. so for those that couldn't figure out how to fix it and your sim is female there is your answer

Hi!

I'm new to the Sims but I've done all my research for the game. I bought the vampire pack and turned one of my sims into a vampire. I've had them befriend multiple vampires and become good friends with all of them, but the option to spar has never come up. They are currently a Master as well...

What causes this? Have I missed something? I don't use mods and I've never downloaded anything before.

I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge and cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your computer/game.
Please only contact me via PM when asked to do so.

Happy Vampires Day! The new vampire game pack releases tomorrow and I received a free copy of it from EA to review. So I hope I can give you some insights into the pack so you can decide whether you want to buy it.

The third one is Good Vampire, a good vampire wants to satisfy his thirst by drinking plasma packs instead of leeching on humans and wants to be friends with both vampires and humans.

The most prominent need is vampire energy. This works similarly to normal sims energy as it get replenished by sleeping (either in a bed or in a coffin). But your vampires can also use their vampire energy to unleash their supernatural powers such as mind control or super speed (more on powers below).

Vampire energy will decrease when your vampire is exposed to sunlight but apart from sleeping in can be increased again with dark meditation which gives less energy than sleeping but is also faster. So if you just need that little burst of vampire energy to cause hallucinations to your most hated neighbor, this is your go-to interaction.

Vampires and even normal sims get some special interactions with this game pack that are marked with a little bat symbol. For example normal sims can enthuse about vampires or speculate about their existence.

The pipe organ skill can be leveled up at the new pipe organ (duh) up to level 10. With sufficient skill your vampires can perform typical songs with a vampiric vibe or play haunted music. This is pretty fun as it has a unique sound to it and is different from what a sim can do with a piano. In my vampire mansions, this sets a great spooky atmosphere. Nice one!

The vampire lore skill is different from other skills in a way. It can be leveled up to level 15 and while it unlocks specific interactions for your vampires it is also kind of a tutorial for you, the player.

Of course, as a vampire, you will have to satisfy your never ending thirst for blood, or as teen rated sims call it, plasma. A vampire can drink plasma from normal sims, or plasma fruit sources but not from other vampires or aliens.

When drinking from another sim a vampire will have to use his powers to compel the sim in question to let the vampire drink. If you befriend a normal sim you can also ask them for permission to drink some plasma.

Now, what if your vampire is tired of compelling other sims for plasma drinks? What if they want to be good? Plasma packs and plasma fruit is your answer. Vampires who level up the vampire lore skill will learn how to craft various plasma supplies that work without a normal sim to drink from.

The player gets a lot of freedom to customize their vampires in terms of looks and personality. You can play the good, the evil, the neutral vampire or anything in between which I really like! The Sims 4 Vampires gives good groundwork for any vampire story you want to tell while still offering compelling gameplay and a spooky atmosphere. The new world is small but still a big plus since it adds to the overall atmosphere of the game.

Vampires in The Sims 4 gradually expand their capacity as creatures of the night and grow in strength, unlocking new perks as they progress. As Vampires use their abilities, they gradually gain experience which is reflected in the unlocking of new Vampire Powers. There are about 17 total levels to be gained, each of which will provide additional Power Points which allow you to select perks. It is possible to unlock all perks. However, this expanding power comes with a downside. With each additional rank, the Vampire will grow closer to the darkness and be required to develop new weaknesses. This ensures they do not become too vampiric and balances their humanity.

There are two components to leveling up your Vampire's skills. Vampires have a rank, with a title, such as Master Vampire. Each rank has a few sub-levels to it. Each time you cross a mark on the progress bar, you'll be rewarded with points. Fill up the bar, and your Sim will ascend to the next level of Vampire. This unlocks more potent passive and activated abilities on which you can expend Power Points and enhance your Sim with new potential.

Vampire skill level is gained by feeding and utilizing Vampire Powers, nearly all of which will grant some experience. Dark Meditation is an ability that can be used by self-clicking your Sim -- this power will regenerate Vampire Energy and generate some experience. Doing this after exhausting your Sim's energy is a good way to skill up. A means of power leveling vampire levels is to study Vampire Lore, starting at the computer, and progressing to ancient books.. that can be ordered from the computer as your Sim graduates. The Sims team made an oversight in design (at time of writing) that allows you to continually gain Vampire ranks sitting a computer and learning about vampires. You somehow stop learning vampire lore but continually gain vampire power. I suggest you ignore that capability until this oversight is fixed, for your own enjoyment of the game. Make the break points the point you'd need a vampire lore skill book, as the developers should have. They did a good job otherwise but this is a bit of a spoiler. I'm not even sure the books should give points past the third rank anyway.

Aside from these options, there are two notable exceptions that stand out to help you improve your skill. When you meet another Vampire, you can choose 'Vampire Spar', a Friendly action, which will set your Sim up to duel another Vampire. Additionally, under the Vampire menu, you can sometimes find 'Request Vampire Training' that will let the targeted Sim teach your Vampire the ropes. Because some of your powers, like feeding, are on a cooldown, unlocking additional vampire abilities will help your vampire to level up faster. Getting to Minor Vampire does not take all that long, and each rank comes swiftly, though each additional level beyond that takes substantially longer. Beyond Minor Vampire it takes a fixed amount of 'points' for each additional Vampire Rank.
