I've been using this script off an on now for a while but it seems
MediaMonkey changed the numerical values they store for ratings
recently and now I get lots of errors like:

Error: Got POPM value of 118, for which no translation exists

This also seems to pop up with 186, and a few others I can't remember
off the top of my head. I'm no good with pearl so even though it's
probably a simple change it's way beyond my skill level.

Hi,

I'll have to try and see if I can find out what the new values are --
probably in the MM forums.

It doesn't seem to be in the forums. I'll have to download the new
version of MM and do some testing.

Below are the new values for MM 3.1. They look made up by a retarded
monkey. Supposedly this makes the MM ratings compatible with Windows
Media Player -- if that's true, WMP is even more horrible than I
thought!

0.5 13
1.0 23
1.5 54
2.0 64
2.5 118
3.0 128
3.5 186
4.0 196
4.5 242
5.0 252

Here's the updated script. It should continue to work with the old
version of MediaMonkey, too.

Just to be clear, save the above link, then change the extension to ".pl".

I haven't yet update my scripts package -- so if you're using that, it
still won't work.

Thanks Robert and I totally agree on the retarded monkey bit, those
are some strange numbers! Thanks for the quick responses and some
great scripts.
