I downloaded the Teridons itunes scripts package. I ran the m3u
playlist script which in essence reads the playlist and adds the files
to itunes. How do I turn this script off or remove it? I’m getting
duplicates and cleared out my entire library and reloaded my library
folders but it keeps duplicating because of the m3u files…How do I
turn off this script or any of these scripts for that matter?

What? Your question doesn't make any sense. You don't need to turn
off any scripts -- if you don't like what they do, you just don't run
them.

If you are adding folders to iTunes, and iTunes is duplicating files
because of m3u playlists -- that has nothing to do with my scripts
package -- that is all iTunes.

Well I ran it.. and that’s what it did.  After you run the script… does it remain “active” for that session of Itunes.. when does the script get killed?  When I close Itunes?  When I reboot the computer.. That is my question.  Itunes never took the playlists and duplicated the songs from the playlist until I ran this script.  I have shut down Itunes and reinstalled folders but it keeps happening, that is why I ask about the script.  If anything I can create a new folder and keep playlists in it and away from the songs folders.

The script is complete when the Command Prompt window closes. In other words,
once it has finished adding the m3u playlists to iTunes, it's done.

It cannot affect iTunes after it completes, because it isn't running. Nor does
it change any iTunes settings. I suppose it's possible that iTunes modifies the
playlist files, but I doubt it.

I think your problem is iTunes. If you add a folder, it automatically adds both
song files and playlist files. It has always done this, as far as I know.
