What can I do to have this media player user interface (or similar) on my TV? I know I can connect the hard drive (via USB) to the TV, and I can actually play most of the files. However the files / folders are displayed in a horrible user interface (or lack of one) format that is hard to use, i.e. only part of the folder/file names are displayed. And it does not let me 'drill down" to many of the sub folders.
Any suggestions?
WD TV Live HD Media Player works on all TVs having HDMI port and USB port. It also work on Samsung Smart TV. As it is showing only WD screen without any data files, you may try to check after reset of WD Media player device.
I have recently installed the Xibo player (APK) from on my Smart Android TV. I have entered my license number and the player works fine when I find and launch it. However, I am having trouble finding a way to start the Xibo player automatically when the TV starts up.
I recently purchased a Samsung Smart TV. I want to watch Big Sky Conference Basketball games using the link to web sites on the TV. I am able to access the "Watch Big Sky" web site and get all the way along the system to the correct game and the screen to watch it. When the game comes on and I try to get it up on the screen, I get a screen message that says I need Adobe Flash Player to watch the game itself.
I work for city government and we have an issue viewing our city meetings through a government portal that needs flash to play on our digital signage smart TV's. and for the same reason, our own government content cannot be played in our city hall. ( we have a digital signage workaround in place but it is going to cost alot for the players and licensing).
I understand this issue is because of the browser that comes with Samsung smart TV's, but isn't it possible to build a player enabled app for smart TV's? Adobe is pretty crafty and I am sure you have a couple good programmers who could lead the charge on this! (and quite possibly corner the smart TV browser market!)
There is no alternative, as there is no Flash Player for Samsung or any other TV. Flash Player is only available for desktop systems (Tech specs Adobe Flash Player ) If you want to view Flash content on your TV, the option is to connect your computer to your TV (via HDMI cable) and view it that way.
You don't need adobe flash for the samsung... go to the apps and activate the app you want to view such as hbogo. You will get a pin but you have to enter the hbogo activation website through your computer while you have the tv pin on the screen, once activated in this manner you will be able to view the shows without adobe flash player
I think the OP is trying to watch a feed through a website in the samsung smart TV browser. for embedded video, you need adobe flash player (or other player, like quicktime) to view the videos but the browser that currently comes with the TV cannot support flash because it is a computer program and not something that can be installed into the browser APP like an extension on a computer...

hi cannot pair my garmin edge 1040 to my kickr core , workout player cannot find the smarttrainer , I connected the kickr in Garmin, I followed all your instructions , android works but I want to train over garmin to have my data directly in garmin connect gr Marc
Usually a connection drop like that means something else (Zwift, etc.) has grabbed the trainer connection over Bluetooth.
Make sure all other apps are not running that might connect while the Garmin does.
You could also disable Bluetooth on the phone to make sure.
HI disconected everything that can receive a bluetooth or ant + signal exept the garmin 1040 , still not working , I connected the garmin with ant + ?
not working , also if i pusch the select button xert sees my garmin as a power meter not as a trainer
Hi Marc,
w/ 1040, i have the same problem; so, i have unistall all data field, unpair my iPhone and, after reboot of my Phone and my 1040, 1) pair my iPhone 2) remake all XERT data field. Now i have resolved this problem. Also XERT Player, before this procedure, not connected w/ my Garmin Edge 1040. Now work fine. So, the same tips write Ridge in the post over.
Good Ride,

The important questions regarding Smart are his shooting ability and his ability to run an offense. If either of these were stronger, he would be in the conversation for a top 3 pick. But between his array of skills and his elite intangibles, he has a decent shot of nevertheless becoming a valuable offensive player who is a force defensively. And even if he never quite pans out offensively, he can still be better than Tony Allen on that end with similar or slightly worse defense. In short, he should be at least as useful as Tony Allen a significant % of the time and he has clear star upside as well. That may not be enough to merit top 3 consideration, but after Embiid, Exum, and Parker there is no clear #4 and I believe Smart makes as compelling of a pick as any other prospect in that slot.
SMART Video Player enables you play a video on your interactive screen and write notes over it in digital ink. You can play standard video files, or play videos from a connected video hardware device, such as a VCR or DVD player.
Yup. The other two dudes would flank the player (green arrow) and start shooting from the weak side that gave the player no cover (red arrow again). The player would then usually take a bunch of damage and be forced to deal with a very tactically bad position. The idea was that by making the AI gunmen act in a strategic manner, it would force the player to keep moving and find new tactically advantageous positions while fighting intelligent bad guys. Adrenaline pumping gameplay, no real safe spots, truly smart AI with real squad tactics. Sounds like it would be pretty fun, right?
That is not what the goal should have been. The goal from the start should have been to design an AI that was fun to beat. This is a rather crucial difference that I think we glossed over at the beginning, and it ended up hurting us in the long run.
Great suggestion! I want that too, the tablet versions of sites would look great on the screen, especially if they use the retina artwork for the sites on my lovely new 4K TV that I have yet to get over.
In the meantime, i've asked a similar question on LG developer forum and someone replied that they have no plans to include flash in the browser - fair enough and I agree. It would be great though if they or somebody else can provide a way for the webos internet browser to be able to have the browser agent changed so at least, sites that already replace flash content on ipads, would do the same on the TV. Does anybody maybe have a suggestion on how something like this could be implemented? I've even tried to look for websites that allow you to change user agent on the fly but none of the ones I tested had good results...
Lg WebOS hasn't got Flash because i have talked with LG and they say that ADOBE doesn't want to provide them Flash, then i asked why Netcast has flash, they sayed that in that moment ADOBE provided them and as you can see netcast has flash 10 and can't be updated, and the actual version is Flash 15, they sayed that if i talk personaly to adobe, they could help me, so if we all send a mail to adobe, may be they can provide flash on behalf of clients, so friends, one email can change the way of your TV, so please help me and also send emails to adobe. Hope it helped, 1 like also helps me.
It looks like many people are asking for this. To be honest, maybe flash is not the best option in such case and as some of you guys mentioned, it would require input from Adobe and it might get a bit complicated for LG to implement. What I was originally asking for though, is for some tool that would at least allow LG WebOS TV owners to switch the browser's User Agent string to something like an iPad for example. Nowadays, many websites (and most importantly, websites streaming video content) have implemented fallbacks if flash is not available however, the webos tv browser user agent seems to be not so popular and it lacks behind. I really love my TV but sometimes, I feel a bit disappointed with certain small things as I know the TV is easily capable to do much more but it's limited in certain situations like this.
Yes, i also think that's exactly right, LG doesn't want the license because they think that now days evrything works with html5 but they are "out of mind" because 50% or more of internet is still using Flash player. HTML5 is just another innovation that only big company's webpages is using. I recommend lg to know about the word outside of sales and business. There is something named satisfaction. I wish that WebOS 2.0 will be available for my TV 42LB650V, and i hope it's lot better than the current OS ver. and doesn't have the "out of memory" error...
I have also LG G2 mini phone ..... that has the same limitation with flash plugin in web browser .... and I bypass only with application on "google play" called "FlashFox" web browser .... and flash videos on the web is running very good ...
And I found the solution is only find programmer who will make new application web browser with flash plugin "integrated" like FlashFox for WebOS even to put an option for multiple video codecs to install.... I am willing to pay for such application up to 25$ .....
I also have a lg g2 mini and the thing is that no android phone has flash player, and lg's g2 mini is an android phone, it's not lg's fault, for your android, you can search and download "flash player android 4.4.apk" and install, this for the phone, and for the tv, there's no solution yet. You have to contact adobe to make a flashplayer for the lg WebOS TV
You cannot install flash player apk ..... it will not play flash videos on phone.... FlashFox app for android works very good, it does not need flash player instalation at all ..... and you can watch flash video on web sites on lg mini .... if you dont believe me install it and check it out ....
