dragon valley is a world the code is 16 digits long you redeem that code on your the sims 3 account then download and install the world from your the sims 3 purchase history you will once the world is downloaded and installed find the world to play in in the main menu + new game you will still play from whatever game you normally play from there will be no launcher icon nor desktop shortcut icon nor will the world be in your origin my games tab as it is sims 3 store item DLC
did you redeem the cod ein orign first ? tha can make the code invalid try redeem the code in your the sims 3 account instructions in the guide how to redeem and or log into your sims 3 purchase history to see if the world is there to download it then install it
Hi i bought the sims 3 monte vista, but when i want to redeem it on this site store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html , when i push redeem it's only turn in a loop and do nothing, anyone have seen this problem before ?
I purchased the sims 3 world monte vista on origin and when I put the code in it said it had already been used but I had just purchased it , has anyone else had this issue I would really like the access the world. I have also had an issue with game expansions not showing up on the sims 3 launcher. is there any way to solve either of these problems?
I have tried doing this on a MacBook Air , this is the first time using an apple laptop to play the sims (not sure if this changes anything ) as some games are showing up and some aren't which is very strange
I had that problem when I purchased the same world bundle pack from walmart a while back. Only on mine, after figuring out how to fix several errors Hidden Springs finally installed and it said Monte Vista code was already used.
It should show up there to download to your game launcher. Once it is downloaded to your sims 3 game launcher then open up "Downloads" section -, Hidden Springs shows up under your lots tab. make sure it shows under the status column as installed. if it is not installed just check the box and click install. Then you should be ready to play in your new Hidden Springs town. (Monte Vista shows up under the objects tab - so while your in your launcher make sure its downloaded and installed to your launcher/game also) Its better just to do 1 download and/or install to the game at one time. I have never had luck checking multiple things to download and install at the same time
(Edit - Update: One of my other problems was my game/launcher was not up to date- if you use origin/windows/pc it should be Version 1.69) - but I was getting script errors and other things along with the code already used problem)
You might have to contact EA customer support either using the live chat or call them on the phone (the phone option will usually give you the option to have them call you back so you do not have to wait on hold for the next available person - as long as its during their business/call in hours) :
Okay so I purchased UL, IP and the Monte Vista stuff pack the other day during the Origin Sale. So I've downloaded and installed UL and IP, but not Monte Vista. I've paid for it and everything should be okay, but I have no idea how to download it. I've checked EVERYWHERE.
try this log into your the sims 3 account-my store account redeem code once you redeem the code monte vista should b then in your purchase history download and install the world once installed launch your game you will find monte vista in the +new game to start playing with it if for some reason you end up with an invalid code or used already message then you will need to contact CS

Turns out, when I wrote the code down for the Monte Vista stuff pack, I made a Z look too much like a 2. So, I've "redeemed" it, and directs me to my Purchase History, but it's not there. So, I still need help. :c
The 16-number serial code is invalid. It won't work when I try to redeem the code via Origin OR the Sims 3 website. Also the CD won't work either. It does not ask to put the serial number or anything. I am very frustrated by this. It seems like it is something wrong with the serial code and the CD... Please help!
Yes sorry, I'm new to this and noticed after I asked 2 times. I have tried both Origin and the redeem a code on the website. It says the code is invalid, even though I've checked if it was correct which it was. :/
I am currently experiencing the same problem. I purchased Sims Monte Vista via Origin and have tried to enter the code on the sims 3 website via redeem a code option, like the email said. The website is telling me my code in incorrect, even though i am copying it off of the email origin have just sent me.
I just bouight the $10 world pack from origin that has monte vista in it. the hidden springs code worked, but the chocolate fountain and the monte vista codes both do the same for me with the invaild code.. so upsetting
i spoke to an EA helper online and he said that there is currently a problem with the sims 3 website. He told me they were trying to sort it out andf to hold out, although he couldnt give me a time frame!
