On http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/teratomas/ they claim to "protect the integrity and privacy of our existing members as best we can", yet on Wikipedia they have repeatedly claimed that I was a member. So much for integrity and privacy! Maybe the key word is "existing", so they are free to attack their ex-members. By their public actions, these Teratoma Support Foundation people show a total lack of respect for their members.
Don't believe it? See for yourself. Below are URLs and direct quotes posted by these people on Wikipedia.

"Una-- what is the problem? Are you afraid that people will not go to your site? Why do you feel the need to remove our link? We are not Spam and as a former member you know that."
[I am a very active Wikipedia editor and I remove a lot of link spam, but I am not the only editor who has removed their link and explained to them that in Wikipedia it is link spam.]

["banned from Yahoo Groups" is a lie.]

"Una, it's painfully obvious that this is the result of some personal vendetta you have against the Teratoma Support Foundation."
I don't know you, but it's a shame you would purposely keep parents
from getting the information they need. I was one of the founding
members of the Teratoma Support Group. I'm too busy with 3 kids now
to be active in it like I once was, but the people there are a wealth
of information and very supportive. I only wish it had been around 11
years ago when I was dealing with this.
