Subject: Invitation to demonstrate/run workshops at Rome Home Show April 26 & 27

Hi Folks,

The Rome Chamber of Commerce invites CNYFIRST to participate in the Rome Home Show on the last weekend of April.

Anyone want to conduct some outreach?

Bill is looking for a 'flashy' attraction that will enhance the other booths; apparently our booth would be located in one of the rounded corners of the Kennedy Arena, and we would be given about 25 X 10 in space. He hopes to see us demonstrating and doing a workshop, and indicated that a team that asked for donations at the event would be OK with him.

Here is the Home Show site: romechamber.com. If you click on the floor plan, you will see corners A, B, C and D. AmeriCu is already booked for one of them; the City of Rome will have one of the other corners, and the Capitol Theater will occupy the third corner... fourth corner for us if we desire.

 

Please chat with your teams and let me know asap if you are interested. I'm sure the Chamber has other ideas of dynamic displays/demos to fill that spot if we are not available.

 

Again, dates are April 26, 9am - 5pm

April 27, 9am - 4pm

 

It would be best to have several teams sharing the duties! I will coordinate initial logistics, so please get in touch.
