To make the work easier, we have been given two devices to our disposal: the map of the whole area and a personal digital assistant (PDA), which help us gain information on the surroundings, our fields, their state and utilization, vehicles in our possession, weather, prices of agricultural produces and finances. Below is a short description of the available options.

By pressing ESC we gain access to four windows: Description, Settings, Map View, Select Equipment. The first one repeats the info we were given while loading the game. The second one allows us to change the settings of the game, i.e. speed up or slow down time (we can also do it by pressing 7 or 8) - further details as to how it affects the game can be found in the Cultivation - Grains section. Other options are used rarely and serve to adjust the game to our needs.

The next window - Map View - is one of the most important in the game. It not only allows us to view the whole map of Hagenstedt, but also displays our fields (green), what plants we grow on them and their current status. Thanks to this we can easily determine which crops have ripened and require cutting, or which areas are ready for another sowing. At the bottom there is a button we can use to toggle between the plants and their growth status, allowing us complete control over the field.

The last window is used to locate all vehicles in our possession. We can easily see that the few starting tractors are placed in remote locations - the cow and sheep pastures and eggs selling station mentioned earlier. Three filters allow us to display particular machines. The most interesting, however, is the last option: it allows us to transport any machine to the starting location. Select Reset the next chosen vehicle/implement and then click the icon of the vehicle on the map - it will be transported to our machinery fleet in an instant.

The next page shows the weather for the following days. It's particularly important for collecting potatoes - you won't be able to use certain machines during heavy rains, so make sure to check the weather beforehand and wait with the sowing if needed.

The third page is a list of prices in several stations on the map. It displays names of the products, price per unit, trend, and a presumptive increase in the demand for certain crops (indicated in green; the details are on the last page).

FarmStream Fleet is a powerful tool that enables farm operation managers to closely monitor the productivity of their fleet of vehicles. FarmStream Fleet can quickly and accurately provide detailed utilization data, demonstrating how the vehicle is being used for a given time period.

Customers may use the Precision-IQ or FmX+ app on the TMX-2050 display or the Precision-IQ app on the GFX-750 or GFX-350 display. The Precision-IQ app prior to version 5.50 firmware for TMX or 1.50 firmware for GFX-750 has limited FarmStream functionality only.

Customers who have the DCM-300 modem and the FmX or TMX-2050 display set up on a vehicle can choose whether they want to use the traditional or FarmStream version of Fleet for that vehicle. Customers who own these devices can use FarmStream and traditional Fleet on different vehicles in their fleet and see the data from both versions of Fleet in one organization.

If an operator exceeds the functional speed limit for an implement, possible damage can occur to the implement, the vehicle, the crop, or the field. The FmX integrated display or TMX-2050 display (using the FmX Plus app) can send information to Fleet in the Trimble Ag Software solution regarding the speed of vehicles and implements.

If delay reasons are enabled, and if the stopped to delayed timeout threshold is reached, the operator will be presented with a screen to explain the reason for the delay. This delay reason will be reported in the Trimble Ag Software.

The three sensors that are reported in the FmX+ app are Fuel Level, Fuel Rate, and Engine hours. Additional sensor data may be viewable in the Utilization app, depending on what sensors are reported by the vehicle.

In the Home screen, tap the Precision IQ icon to open the app.
After opening Precision-IQ, you can set up the Implement and Vehicle settings for the Utilization app, so the utilization data shows up as you want it to in FarmStream Fleet.

To set the maximum moving speed option, tap Maximum Moving Speed. Choose a maximum moving speed for the vehicle and then tap the Check button. There is also an option to display the speed in US or Metric units. The range of the allowed moving speed that can be selected is noted in the dialog:

If an operator exceeds the functional speed for an implement, possible damage can occur to the implement, the vehicle, the crop or the field. The GFX-750 or TMX-2050 display can send information about the implement status to FarmStream Fleet in the Trimble Ag Software solution.

To set the Maximum Transport speed, tap on Maximum Transport Speed and enter a value in the range indicated. Select the Units, if required. Tap on the green check to save.

Signing in as an operator is not required for Utilization or FarmStream to run, but if you want to see operator information in the application, you must sign in. In order to use operator login with PIQ, the Enable Operators (Operator Sign In) feature must be turned on. This feature can be turned on in the Trimble Ag Software account by logging in and going to Data Transfer -> Settings -> Syncing and turning on Operator Sign in. If AutoSync is not enabled, this feature can be turned on by opening the Operators app, tapping on the gear and clicking on Enable Operators.

Operators can also be created locally on the display, but they will not be sent to the Trimble Ag Software to be seen on the Fleet page. These local operators will not show in the Connected Farm menu in the Operator app.

If it is not present, or the utilization app needs to be updated, from the Launcher screen, tap on the App Central icon. Make sure that you have connectivity on your display so that you will be able to access App updates.

If you tap on the settings gear in the upper right corner, you can set how many seconds elapse before a state is re-transmitted to FarmStream Fleet, and whether you want the app to AutoStart when the display is turned on. AutoStart is set to Off by default. If AutoStart is turned off, the user will need to open the Utilization app manually each time for this feature to work. There is also a reminder that a vehicle requires a Display Connection (formerly Vehicle Connection) license in order to use FarmStream Fleet.

If the delay reason feature is enabled on the display, and the vehicle is stopped past the amount of time specified in the Stopped To Delayed timeout, a message will pop up, with a list of delay reasons for you to select.

If a device does not have connectivity and the Utilization app has been enabled, you will see a warning message telling you that the Utilization app may cause memory on the device to become full. You should enable the connectivity of the device or disable the Utilization app until connectivity is restored.

Carl will help you gain a high-level understanding of how to optimize the graphics settings on a computer similar to ours and on your golf simulator software such as GSPro vs. TGC 2019 vs. E6 Connect. For reference, the computers we use with our golf simulators include these specs:

Most high definition golf simulator software will have recommendations for the specs of the computer you should be using to run the program. All recommendations from the software companies include having a separate graphics card.

A graphics card is an add-on piece to a computer that has the job of sending images to the display, which in our case is a projector in our golf simulator. Typically, add-on graphics cards are needed to help the computer process the high-end graphics of video games such as golf simulator software.

In the NVIDIA Control Panel, you can tinker with a ton of settings that can affect how your golf simulator software graphics are displayed on your computer. Ultimately, it is personal preference how you balance performance vs. quality, which means you might be doing a lot of trial and error until you hit that sweet spot.

The refresh rate is the number of times each second that the image refreshes on the screen. At 60Hz, the screen refreshes 60 times per second. The higher the number, the better for smooth motion. The refresh rate options are based on what your monitor or projector supports.

GSPro makes it very easy to find some of the main settings that will help you get the most graphically out of it. As soon as you launch the program, the first window that pops up, GSPro Configuration, will have options to adjust your graphics and resolutions settings.

As you can see above, you can change the screen resolution and graphics quality to whatever you prefer. Just remember that the larger the resolution and the higher the graphics quality, the more likely you will be to run into jittery graphics.

To adjust some E6 Connect graphics settings, enter the settings menu and go to system config > video > SSAA (super-sampling anti-aliasing). Here, you can change the resolution up to 8K, rendering the image in that format before formatting it for your computer. Tinker around and see what works best.

From The Golf Club 2019 home page, click on settings > graphics and you will be able to adjust quality level, VSync, anti-aliasing and resolution, along with turning on/off depth of field, bloom, SSAO and full screen.

The Armoury Crate app is meant to solve this problem, but it often failed. A button to the left of the screen brings up an overlay that, among other things, lets you swap between Gamepad, Desktop, or Auto modes. However, in 20-plus hours of testing over the past week, I often found that games thought I was using a keyboard when I was in Gamepad mode. Once a game figured out what control method I was using, it worked well enough, but I started assuming that it would take time to figure out how to control each new game I played.
