Coinsfor Change is a feature available during the Holiday Party on New Club Penguin. Penguins are able to donate money to this virtual charity. Unlike in the original Club Penguin, the coins donated do not go to charity. New Club Penguin decided to include the feature of Coins for Change to enable users to obtain the Stamps and to learn about charitable giving.
A coin is the main currency of Club Penguin Island and it is used as a legal tender. They can be unlocked and obtained through mini games, competitions, or paychecks. Fluffy the Fish is engraved in all of the standard 1 coins.
Coins are earned by playing single or multiplayer games. Almost every game (excluding Card-Jitsu, Fair games, Card-Jitsu Fire & Water, as well as Club Penguin Times games) provides you with coins after playing. You can also receive coins by digging in the Gold Mine. The coins you earn in games is usually equal to 10% of your total score, and if you have all the stamps for that game, then your payout is doubled, providing the game contains stamps. Arguably, the best way to earn quick coins is to play the Underwater Level in the Puffle Rescue.
You are able to receive monthly paychecks through Penguin Mail for having a few "jobs" which include being a Tour Guide and EPF Agent. The monthly paycheck for Tour Guides is 250 coins, and for EPF Agents, it is 350 coins. Formerly, if you were a Secret Agent, you would receive 250 coins per month. Paychecks were added on May 2, 2009.
Coins are earned by playing games and taking part in special activities, such as Igloo and competitions. Players can use coins to buy colors, Puffles, Puffle supplies, Clothing, Igloo Upgrades, furniture, and player card backgrounds. Coins can also be used to send post cards. However, non-members are only allowed limited ways of spending their coins:
A "ten" coin is shaped like a normal Club Penguin coin but is worth 10 coins. It is also larger than a normal coin. It is found in the games Jet Pack Adventure and Jetpack Boost, and can also be found when digging for coins in the Cave Mine.
When penguins traveled back in time during the Prehistoric Party 2013, the Prehistoric Party 2014, and the Prehistoric Party 2016, coins and dinosaur eggs can be seen in the game Dino Dig. The coin was dark blue with a touch of green and was shaped like a pentagon with a hole in the middle.
Coin codes are similar to coins, the difference being that coin codes are in real life (found on Club Penguin merchandise) and they allow you to redeem items online, in the Treasure Book. They are shaped like standard one-coins, with the code on the back, with a picture of the merchandise it came with. They are made of plastic.
Since the Christmas Party 2007, there has been a Coins for Change program during every Holiday Party. In the end, more than 2.5 million penguins donated in excess of 2 billion virtual coins they earned playing games on Club Penguin to support the environment, children's health or children in developing countries. Through their virtual donations, the kids directed how much of a $1 million cash donation went to three charitable organizations.
The Emperor Penguin is the tallest and heaviest of all living penguin species. They can grow to a height of about 3.7 feet and weigh up to 88 pounds, making them well-adapted to survive in the harsh Antarctic environment.
The reverse side of 2023 1 oz Silver Emperor Penguins comes with a depiction of a colony of penguins. Here, the penguins are shown lining up at the edge of an ice shelf near open water as some watch on while others dive in and swim beneath the frigid waters.

Depending on your method of payment, it is possible to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you pay with paper check, bank wire, ACH, Ethereum, Ripple, or bitcoin, you may have your order shipped wherever you please, with two exceptionsUPS locations and mail forwarding locations. If you pay with a credit/debit card, it depends on your order history. For credit cards, put the order through with your billing address as the shipping address, and then call us to see if we can change it to an alternate. If you pay via PayPal, your order must ship to a PayPal Verified address.
You may choose how your order is shipped during the checkout process. In the last section of the checkout page, 4 Shipping Method, you will see the available shipping options for your order. If your purchase is eligible for free shipping, the pre-selected option will be base shipping, which is either USPS, UPS, or FedEx at our choice. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may choose one of the other options for a small fee. Simply click on the circle next to the shipping method you desire, and your order will be shipped via that method.
Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.
All UPS 7 fedEx shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS or FedEx location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.
We can ship to such stores including UPS Stores, various mail and packing stores, freight forwarders, etc. However, these are private businesses not owned by UPS, USPS, etc. Therefore, our shipping insurance does not cover missing packages or items sent to these locations if the tracking shows delivered.
Coins for Change was an annual virtual charity that allowed penguins to donate their virtually earned coins to various booths and stands placed in-game on Club Penguin and Club Penguin Island during December. Real money was then given to charities because of the virtual contribution.
Starting December 14, Club Penguin officially decided to donate one million of their actual money earned from the purchase from Disney to various charities. They set up two locations on the island where you could donate your virtual coins for different causes. The three causes were to help children in need from around the world, help the sick who can not afford medical treatment, or the environment. Although all three causes received funds, the one with the most donated virtual coins received the most real world money. It was Kids Health. There were stands at 2 locations; one at the Plaza and one at the Beach. Upon donating, you would receive the Coins For Change Card, which was only available during the 2007 campaign.
On November 10, Club Penguin officially announced that Coins for Change would be back on December 12, 2008. It ended on December 22, 2008. A donation bucket was added in the Captain's Quarters. Club Penguin also made a new page that you could access by clicking the Coins For Change stand and bucket on the home page. You can view it here.
The Coins for Change 2012 went on along with Holiday Party 2012 from December 20, 2012 to January 4, 2013. You were able to buy cookies at the Bakery to fund raise for Coins for Change and get the CFC 2012 Pin. There was a Coin Counter at the Snow Forts. The Lighthouse was not filled with coins anymore. There was a glitch with this Coins For Change, as if you clicked on a Coins For Change-stand in an igloo when this year's Coins For Change ended, the donate coins screen would actually appear after the event has officially ended. This was soon fixed. You can view it here.
