To help ensure student success, Nash Community College recognizes that not all students are alike, and that many face challenges beyond those arising in the classroom. Food insecurity, test anxiety, post-military life challenges, learning disabilities, transportation problems, mental health issues, financial concerns, substance use, impaired access to technology and health care needs are among the obstacles to learning that some NCC students encounter. These concerns must be addressed in order for learning and positive student outcomes to occur; and that is just what Blue Love does. Additionally, NCC faculty have engaged in rigorous instructionally focused professional enrichment to help them engage students at the highest level.
Blue Love is signified with hands in the shape of hearts, buttons, and blue tie dyed tee shirts, but these representations stand for much, much more. And those who live in local and surrounding areas can attest to the impact of Blue Love each day when they are treated by nurses, use locally fabricated products, receive goods transported by a CDL graduate, are served in a restaurant by a culinary student, and experience the protection and service of law enforcement or fire services agencies. So, this term that I and others have referred to recently, is not simply about the donning of apparel and smiles by NCC employees; it is about building caring, meaningful relationships with our students, with each other, and with the community.
Blue Love is an unreleased song tracked and overdubbed on 28 December 1983 at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, California, during the same session that yielded The Glamorous Life and Next Time Wipe The Lipstick Off Your Collar. The upbeat song consist of a Linn drum pattern, bass, Oberheim synth, and piano and has multiple layers of Prince. The lyrics tell the story of someone reflecting on a weekend love affair, describing the passion of a Saturday night, the mystical feeling of being with his partner on Sunday morning, and then how they are gone by Monday. The track was further worked on in March when a harp was added but remains unreleased.
We love "love-in-a-mist", a beautiful, ethereal flower followed by a balloon-like seed-pod full of tasty edible seeds. We also sell a multicolor mix (with whites and pinks) but this 'Persian Blue' variety contains a striking mix of different shades of blue. Pollinators love this plant, and the seeds can be used in a range of dishes, the same way you would use standard nigella seeds (Nigella sativa, or black seed, or kalonji), such as crushed on bread, or added to cheese (typical of Armenian string cheese). Our seeds for this variety come from Aaron Parker at Edgewood Nursery in Maine.
GROWING TIPS: Direct seed 1/4 inch deep 2-3 weeks before last frost, or transplant healthy plant starts after last frost. We recommend direct seeding, as Nigella can be a bit fussy when transplanted.
I have to admit to being curious as to what Blue Love would be like. The last time I saw Shaun Parker he was a dancer with Meryl Tankard Australian Dance Theatre and, for a whole variety of reasons, I had not seen the works he had performed in or made after leaving the company and taking on his own, independent career. Well, I have to say I loved what he presented in Blue Love. It was outrageous at times, very clever at others, sometimes hilarious, and always entertaining.
Much of the pre-show media mentioned that it was a multi-media experience, which it was, especially as a result of the three short films that were screened during the evening. Parker had made these films close to 20 years ago and they showed him and his original co-performer, Jo Stone, engaged in various social activities, occasionally of a somewhat dubious nature. But, as interesting as these films were as a look-back at a certain lifestyle from the 1970s, I was more taken with other aspects of the show.
Popping, true-blue flowers bring bounding color to every garden. Erica first fell in love with Miss Jekyll Blue in 1998 as a farm apprentice at the University of California and this love affair still flourishes. Up-close the blue flowers are elaborately delightful, and with time, transform into intricate purple-striped pods that continue to dazzle.
All parts of this plant are toxic and should not be consumed. Flowers, foliage, and seed pods make excellent fresh or dried decorations. Cut flowers stay fresh longer if leaves are removed from lower part of stem. For dried pods, harvest when stripes are visible and hang upside down in airy spot.

Occasionally, throughout the time that I have lived in this apartment in Spokane we would order food from DoorDash. And since no one is usually coming over, the only time we get a knock on the door is for a food delivery.
There also was a point when my boyfriend and I brought home Taco Bell. He ended up falling asleep on the sofa with the rest of his food on the coffee table. The next thing I know, she had stolen a cheesy quesarito and drug it under a blanket to eat in shame.
I had never seen a cat act this way before, I was so surprised by this (and honestly, I still am.) I do not intend to fat-shame my little Vanya, but I do laugh at the fact that she acts more like a dog in this sense than she does an actual cat.
They will usually attach and cling to one cat-parent and become a big baby. My little kitten is always nearby or meowing to demand that I give her attention. They are calm and loving babies that will probably try to cuddle you at any chance they get and are not violent.
Throughout the long time I have had her, she has never made a singular violent move towards me or anyone else. I would encourage anyone and everyone to consider getting any feline partner, but speaking from experience, a Russian blue is a lovely companion to have. They bring humour, joy and love to every single day!
As their name implies, they are blue in color, but the aesthetics such as the Umbran symbol is still shared between them and Scarborough Fair. They each feature a set of gems that match the colors of lyrics from the weapon's namesake, both embedded in the gun itself, and as floral imprinted accessories that hang from the grip of the gun, & an engraving on each side of each gun. Director Yusuke Hashimotto provided in a tweet a list of each guns' individual names.[1] As follows:
They also appear to surround Bayonetta's kicks and punches in blue demonic energy instead of the pinkish-crimson that Scarborough Fair did in the first game, again matching the new game's color palette of blue and black over red and black.
In comparison to real guns, Love Is Blue appears to be heavily stylized Mauser C96 "Broom Handle" pistols (Red 9 is a variation of C96 firing 9mm rounds, rather than 7.63mm rounds), but confirmation from Platinum has not been released. The key differences between the Mauser C96 and Love Is Blue are
