For most people nowadays, purchasing a full album is unnecessary. We
can review and purchase tracks on an individual basis and rightly so.
However, I think you'll find yourself purchasing this entire album.
The artist is AMBO, a collaboration between Robyn Miller and Keith
Moore. Robyn Miller is one of my favorite ambient(?) musicians. If the
name doesn't sound familiar, maybe the games Myst and Riven will ring
a bell. He produced the soundtracks for each game. Timeless work. Both
soundtracks rank very high in my playlist to this day.

So this album, 1000 Years and 1 Day. Completely unrelated to Myst and
Riven... What to expect?

I primarily listen to electronic genres. Within the electronic realm,
I listen to Drum & Bass the most. Produce it, even. This album is far
far farrrr away from 175bpm madness. It's got... vocals?...
guitars...? and I love every single track on the album. It stirs up
all the emotions you listen to music for. It's full circle. The
production value is extremely high in my opinion and I can't help but
keep Mr. Miller in mind. This album wasn't written to make a buck, or
because they were feeling hot shot. Actually, Im not sure why they
wrote it, but you can tell it was put together for the right reasons.

You can listen to a few full-length tracks of the album on Robyn's
site: http://www.tinselman.com/ambo_02.html Give 'Vapor' a listen, if
anything ;)

The CD is available for purchase at CD Baby (.com) an iTunes Music
Store. I suggest however, that you stay away from iTunes Music Store,
as it locks down your files with DRM.

Here is an excerpt from CD Baby, You can clearly see Miller's influence:

>Robyn Miller and Keith Moore are most well known for their
involvement in the Hermes III
>space mission. Together, in the year 2023, they set out toward mars,
as part of an
>internationally funded endeavor to colonize the red planet.
Unfortunately, there was a
>curious malfunction with the Hermes III, and they were instructed by
mission control to
>return home.

>Three years later, Robyn and Keith stepped out of the Hermes III onto
terra firma. But
>there was no one to greet them: an ensuing atomic world war had all
but annihilated the
>population of earth.

>They were devastated. They search inside themselves. They moved to
Fiji (because there
>were still a fair number of beautiful women living there). And
then... they recorded this
>album as an expression of their monumental grief.
