Hi,
Some clients are getting the following when trying to download a particular update:
Failed to download update (36a88670-4bf0-4df1-8be8-febbac1d76e1) content. Error = 0x80d02002. Releasing content request.
This update is a Defender definition update generated by an ADR on Config Manager (2203)

Error = 0x80d02002 may have to do with corrupted Windows Update components, or incompatible software or drivers in your system. From the error, we cannot determine the exactly causing of the problem, please use these general troubleshooting steps first.

After approving updates from WSUS then approving updates on SCCM we are getting an error saying "Download error - 0x80d02002" when a client goes to download an update from Windows Update. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

I can't give you a firm answer but I can give you some information that might be helpful. 0x80d02002 is "DO_E_DOWNLOAD_NO_PROGRESS" -- it means that the client's download seemed to start all right, but then several minutes went by without receiving any data from the server.

The error is related to Windows Update and is accompanied by a code 0x80d02002. This message usually appears when the update has not been fully downloaded and installed. A restart of your system should ideally resolve the issue, but if not, below, we have more solutions you can try.

I have an issue with updating my sccm from 1902 to 2010. I initially started the process from the configuration manager console and got stuck at installation (installing component) for 1 week. I used the reset tool to reset the process and deleted the package
I reinitialized the process but the state is Available to Download. The package is not present in the EasySetupPayload. The process has been running for the past 3 days and is still not available in the EasySetupPayload.
