I will want the story to pull fix version once epic is chosen. Is it possible to have the fix version pulled onto the story at the time that the epic is chosen? Along with that, if the epic does not have a fix version selected, then it be added once that fix version is added.

On top of that when we release new groov firmware versions, we make changes to our package repo. This is in our control and we generally only add packages that we know work Ok with our Yocto build of Linux.

I should update that top post with how to use it, but as @Indigo said, its about paths.
I would NOT recommend putting the new version in your system path - that will break much of groov.
Rather you need to just path out to the new version of Python when you run it either from a script or from cron. It does not need sudo.
We have dozens of customers running apps with the new version that they build, so its a non-issue to run as your shell user with the path explicitly called out each and every time. (The draw back of the altinstall).

When you open the Launcher, go to your library Tab. At the top you should see Engine Versions, and next to that you will see a Plus Icon with Add Versions next to it. Clicking that link will give you the option to install a new version of the engine, it should default to 4.8.2 as the icon appears below where you clicked. If it does not then you can click the small down arrow and choose the version you wish to install. Finally click the Install button under the engine version.

What you could do is to download it on your laptop and put the software on a flash drive. Then you plug in into the desktop and use it from there. This is an option but if you would rather prefer buying usb stick with wifi and just straight up installing on the desktop, you can do that too.

Really? installing new version instead of update?
It is really crazy that for updating a program with that huge size you need to completelysitting an hour to download new version!! while just an update package can solve the problem! Time and Bandwidth are M O N E Y.

When downloading the models, please be patient, as many of these files are large in size and might take some time to download depending on your internet connection. Please email us at epic...@brc.tamus.edu if have any problems downloading our models or model tools.

The release of the models is restricted to those researchers and individuals working with the modeling team to enhance scientific understanding or application of the model. We encourage those with interest in the model or modifying the model to contact us at epic...@brc.tamus.edu.

DNA methylation, one of the best characterized epigenetic marks in the human genome, plays a pivotal role in gene transcription regulation and other biological processes in humans. On top of that, the DNA methylome undergoes profound changes in cancer and other disorders. However, large-scale and population-based studies are limited by high costs and the need for considerable expertise in data analysis for whole-genome bisulphite-sequencing methodologies. Following the success of the EPIC DNA methylation microarray, the newly developed Infinium HumanMethylationEPIC version 2.0 (900K EPIC v2) is now available. This new array contains more than 900,000 CpG probes covering the human genome and excluding masked probes from the previous version. The 900K EPIC v2 microarray adds more than 200,000 probes covering extra DNA cis-regulatory regions such as enhancers, super-enhancers and CTCF binding regions. Herein, we have technically and biologically validated the new methylation array to show its high reproducibility and consistency among technical replicates and with DNA extracted from FFPE tissue. In addition, we have hybridized primary normal and tumoural tissues and cancer cell lines from different sources and tested the robustness of the 900K EPIC v2 microarray when analysing the different DNA methylation profiles. The validation highlights the improvements offered by the new array and demonstrates the versatility of this updated tool for characterizing the DNA methylome in human health and disease.

The Infinium MethylationEPIC v2.0 BeadChip Kit is a genome-wide methylation screening tool that targets over 935,000 CpG sites in the most biologically significant regions of the human methylome, while maximizing backwards compatibility with it's predecessor, MethylationEPIC v1.0. The array maintains the ability to quantitatively interrogate CpGs across the genome at single-nucleotide resolution, while providing highly accurate and precise methylation measurements independently of read depth. Multiple DNA sample types, including those isolated from FFPE, can be analyzed using the streamlined, user-friendly Infinium Methylation assay. Due to the scalability and low total cost per sample compared with alternative methods, large cohorts can be screened using MethylationEPIC v2.0 to discover powerful biological insights into disease mechanisms.

Guided by expert evaluations of EPIC v1.0, poor-performing probes have been removed and replaced with cutting-edge content to enable greater discovery power for epigenetics studies. The additional 186,000 CpGs on EPIC v2.0 target enhancers and super-enhancers, additional CTCF-binding sites, CNV detection regions, CpG islands insufficiently covered on EPIC v1.0, and common cancer driver mutations. The updated v2.0 beadchip also profiles open regions of chromatin identified by ATAC-Seq and ChIP-seq experiments. A more extensive description of the content covered by MethylationEPIC v2.0 is described in the product datasheet.

For over a decade, Illumina methylation BeadChips have powered groundbreaking studies in the field of epigenetics, with most published epigenome-wide association studies (EWAS) to date completed on MethylationEPIC or its predecessor, HumanMethylation450. As a result, researchers can benefit from the vast amount of public methylation array data in data repositories like the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) or The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). In addition, machine-learning classifiers for tumors and other diseases have been built upon methylation array data and are easily accessible with the methylation BeadChip data format.

The robustness of the Infinium Methylation assay lends itself to obtaining high data quality out of FFPE tissue samples. FFPE compatibility is critical in studying cancer and enables studies to be completed on large biorepositories of tumors. The Infinium assay is also compatible with fresh/frozen tissue, whole blood, buccal cells, cfDNA, saliva, and other sample types.

When issues share a theme across projects andmilestones, you can manage them by using epics. You can also create child epics and assign start and end dates, which createsa visual roadmap for you to view progress.Use epics:

  • When your team is working on a large feature that involves multiple discussionsin different issues in different projects in a group.
  • To track when the work for the group of issues is targeted to begin and end.
  • To discuss and collaborate on feature ideas and scope at a high level.
See the video: GitLab Epics - Setting up your Organization with GitLab.Relationships between epics and issuesThe possible relationships between epics and issues are:
  • An epic is the parent of one or more issues.
  • An epic is the parent of one or more child epics. For details see Multi-level child epics.
