Actor Murli Sharma, who got an opportunity to work in the Telugu and Tamil remake Marathi movie "Shikshanacha Aaicha Gho", is all praise for Mahesh Manjrekar, saying the National Award winning actor-filmmaker's work is rich in content and a treat for the audience.
Beginning with the much deserving appreciation, SON OF MANJEET SINGH is indeed a brave project in the present dicey scenario of Punjabi Cinema where the audience is not known to support such meaningful films in the theaters. So the producers (including the famous Kapil Sharma) still backing the project as an official remake of an acclaimed Marathi film certainly needs to be supported and praised as a valuable effort.
Shikshanacha aaicha gho is a 2010 indian marathi film directed by mahesh manjrekar starring sachin khedekar, bharat jadhav, saksham kulkarni, gauri vaidya, siddharth jadhav and kranti redkar. the film was released on 15 january 2010. films music composed by trio ajit-atul-sameer. after astitva with 9 years long gap mahesh manjrekar directed marathi film.this film was later remade in tamil & telugu as dhoni and in bengali as "chalo paltai" starring prosenjit chatterjee.
Actor Govinda refused to do a film, the remake of superhit Marathi movie Shikshanachya Aaicha Gho, offered by friend Salman Khan. He says he isn't interested in doing "arty film" with the superstar.
The Haseena Maan Jaayegi star said that Salman is a "dear friend" and when the superstar approached him with the script, he was "not excited" about it.
