Grace Jaeger made a deal with a demon in determination to find answers that plagued her since her mum disappeared. But desperation drove her into another special deal with the gargoyle leader, Bram, that could dangerously risk her heart.

Gargoyle geckos, originally from New Caledonia rank among the best and most colorful of the lizards kept as pets. They also come in a wide range of colors and patterns and make outstanding displays in naturalistic vivariums. Because they can be maintained on a commercial powdered diet that is mixed with water, they are among the easiest to maintain of reptiles. Gargoyle Geckos covers all aspects of known natural history, husbandry, captive breeding, and color and pattern variations. It is illustrated with 170 color photos.

Temperature (F): Keep gargoyle geckos at 74-78 degrees. They cannot tolerate temperatures at or above 85 degrees. Do not let your gargoyle geckos get excessively warm, as high temps can quickly be lethal. Use a digital thermometer to monitor temperature.

Sexing: Sexing gargoyle geckos is a little more complicated than sexing crested geckos, as both males and females may have a bulge at the base of the tail. Sexing can be done more accurately by looking for femoral pores between the hind legs of males.

Social Behavior: Adult gargoyle geckos should be housed alone. As juveniles, they can be housed in groups, but this may result in the occasional gecko losing its tail (which will grow back over time).

Breeding: Breeding mature gargoyle geckos is easy. Breeding season runs from December to August. Females will lay 2 eggs every 30-45 days during this period. Males may be removed to give the females a break.
