Membawa peralatan olahraga di pesawat

Saya mau tanya bagaimana aturan membawa peralatan olahraga (sporting goods/equipments). Apa benar untuk Qatar Airways kita bisa mendapat free 10 kg diluar dari bagasi biasa? Rencananya saya mau bawa sepeda. Biasanya saya bawa sepeda lipat, kali ini saya mau bawa mountain bike yang ukuran dan beratnya lebih besar.
Selain sepeda, apa saja yang masuk kategori spoorting goods yang mendapat free baggage allowance?

(A) Golf Equipment:
A golf bag normally consists of a set of clubs and a pair of golf shoes.
(B) Bicycle:
Tires are to be deflated.
(C) Ski Equipment:
Snow Ski equipment:
-one pair of skis, one pair of ski poles, one pair of boots or
-one snow board, one pair of boots
Water Ski equipment:
- one pair of standard water skis or-
- one slalom water ski
(D) Scuba Diving Equipment:
Consists of suit, vest, socks, mask, shoes, torch, webs, knife, oxygen cylinder and a regulator. Diving cylinders must be empty.
(E) Surf board, Wind surfing and Kayaks:
The board needs to be less than 3 meters. Mast / Sail should be collapsible.
(F) Fishing Equipment:
Normally consists of two rods, one reel, one landing net, one pair of fishing boots, and one fishing tackle box.

Tadi sempat browsing di emirate.com. Ternyata sporting goods yang diakui di situ hanya golf equipment. Sepeda tidak termasuk kategori dan dihitung selayaknya sebagai bagasi normal.

semua maskapai menyediakan fasilitas ini.
Saya udah 3 kali bawa sepeda (sebagai bagasi biasa)..deg-degan terus
sama handlingnya.
Kasus jari-jari bengkok atau RD patah sih udah sering kejadian. Tapi
frame carbon fibre retak baru dengar sekali pada sebuah penerbangan
lokal Indo.
Temen di QG ada yang lagi bangun MTB carbonfibre sub-10kg nih.
Tapi hati-hati, kalo dibawa ke indo dalam bentuk peretelan sih di
maskapai manapun nggak qualify sebagai sporting goods ya. Malah
dianggap sebagai barang dagangan hahaha

Tempat serpis sepeda yang rada respectable selain skate shack dimana
ya (SS sekarang cuma terima serpis sepeda merek trek). Ane baru
ngeluarin Giant dari gudang, ternyata banyak yang kudu dipoles dan
permak.
Sama kalau mau nyari rack angkut (yang bisa buat segala jenis mobil)
dimanakah ? Mending beli disini atau ngangkut dari tanah air ?
Atau kalau ada yang punya lebih dan mau dilego secara diskon.....boleh
juga tuh....

Kira2 apa yang perlu diperbaiki? Kebetulan saya punya tool set di rumah, siapa tau masih bisa dikerjakan sendiri. Gini aja, bawa sepedanya Jumat besok ke Corniche, nanti diliat apa saja yang perlu dipermak. Kalo masih seputaran groupset sih saya masih sanggup, tapi kalu suspension system-nya yang leaking, nah itu mesti yang prof dikit.
