Homelessness is a situation that plagues our community, and housing insecurity drastically affects children and young people. Young people of color are disproportionately affected—72% of Connecticut's
homeless youth are black and Latino. You are receiving this email because your congregation listed "homelessness" as one of the top three social justice issues important to you.
Or perhaps your congregation signed up to participate in the CCGB's Faith Based Youth Justice Advocacy Coalition. We are reaching out to you because we know you care and want to DO BETTER!
We are putting together a Homelessness Task Force to understand the current problem facing our communities and see what we can do to better help, and we urge you to participate!
