Hi Johannes,

As you have provided the instructions to install tf-nightly==2.5.0dev20210312 for TFC,
tf-nightly 2.5 version is no more available through pip command. Is there any way to use latest tf-nightly version in tfc??

Regards,

Abhishek

Hi Abhishek,

this seemed to have happened because TF 2.5 has started getting rolled out in the last few hours. We're actively working on updating our pip packages as well, so that we can just switch to using the normal packages going forward!

Johannes.

We just released TensorFlow Compression 2.2, which is compatible with TensorFlow 2.5. Please upgrade to this version. Enjoy!

Note: It may take a few days for the TensorFlow version used in Google Colab to be updated to 2.5 as well. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to support TFC in Colab until that happens.

FYI: I just verified; the current Colab version has been updated, so running the newest version of TFC in Colab is now supported (just install it with `!pip install tensorflow-compression` first).
