You can reorder your language preferences, get Microsoft Edge to offer translations, and see Microsoft Edge in a specific language. To change a language setting, click the ellipsis (...) next to the language to open for "More actions".Depending on the language, you'll see one or more of the following options:

Windows-1250 is a code page used under Microsoft Windows to represent texts in Central European and Eastern European languages that use the Latin script. It is primarily used by Czech,[1] though Czech has now moved to UTF-8[2] and mostly abandoned this legacy encoding. It is also used for Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, Slovene, Serbo-Croatian (Latin script), Romanian (before a 1993 spelling reform), Rotokas and Albanian. It may also be used with the German language, though it's missing uppercase ẞ.[a] German-language texts encoded with Windows-1250 and Windows-1252 are identical.

I know where it is located in the menu. The problem is that the only language is in the list is Suomi (Finnish). Where can I download other languages from? I have additional languages installed on my system as keyboard layouts for English and Russian, still, the only language offered for user interface in Finnish.

I have tried to download LO in another language, say English or Russian, just in case, seeing if it helps, well, it downloads still the very same installation package. It means the languages are there somewhere inside, just need to get them somehow into the software. LO is the first software I encounter such an issue. Other open source software I use allow to change languages after the installation without issues.

1.Open your Web browser and enter
2.Select and download the correct language pack for your version of LibreOffice software.
3.Close LibreOffice software (also close the Quickstarter, if you enabled it).
4.Install the language pack.

So what about those word endings, you may ask. Slovak is a conjugated language, and the word endings change based on factors such as the gender of the noun. This gender may not correspond to the physical gender (a lamp is female in Slovak, but a girl is neuter). But in this example, they do, since we are referring to people directly. An American guy is Američan, but an American girl is Američanka. If I were to introduce myself, I would say ja som Američan. But my mom would introduce herself with ja som Američanka. Similarly, the plural form is Američania or Američanky. The masculine form is always used, unless the group consists solely of females (sorry ladies!). So a group of 4 girls and one guy will introduce themselves as my sme Američania. If the guy were to leave, the group would say my sme Američanky.

Sometimes I need to switch to English (because OneNote is a moron and has the worst language proofing settings I have ever seen - you have to use your mouse to change proofing language. Or use a LOT of keyboard) in order to have my text corrected as an english text. However, I switch to a different keyboard, which has Z and Y swapped and I am used to typing that my whole life and I refuse to change.

Now I can type with English language (Slovak keyboard) in OneNote, which forces English proofing language and then when I type in Slovak I can switch to Slovak language (with Slovak keyboard) and have Slovak proofing language.

Are you beginning to type in a foreign language? Do you often find yourself copy-and-pasting special characters like é and wish there was an easy shortcut? Thankfully, Windows 10 allows users to easily add and switch between different languages without having to buy a separate physical keyboard.

By default, some languages use a different keyboard layout than the QWERTY layout used for US English keyboards. Once you have switched to the new language, test it out by typing in Word, Notepad, or any other program that allows you to enter text. If the keys you type do not match the letters on the screen, the following instructions can help you fix this issue.

Including the few lines above solved the problem. It is very likely that I had some contradictory commands in the preamble that it cased not to work. For other languages I assume simply swapping Slovak for e.g. German should work as well.

Although these languages use the Western alphabet, Czech and Slovak includes accented letters (e.g. č, š) which may not be found in all fonts.
Note: The term Central European is sometimes used to refer to the languages which use accented letters not common in Western European languages.

On some computers, Microsoft Office may still display in the English language instead of the language that is selected for Windows. In such a scenario, the user must download the language pack for Microsoft Office and choose the language of their preference.

Last year, Azure Cognitive Services announced the release of Azure Cognitive Service for Language. During that release, multiple NLP services came together under a unified, state-of-the-art, NLP service available under one resource and one user experience. Three new custom features were introduced at the time: custom text classification, custom named entity recognition, and conversational language understanding.

Today, the Azure Cognitive Service for Language team announces support for 96 languages for their new custom features! The new language support unlocks and facilitates global market penetration for customers of the Language Service.

The most exciting feature of these services announced last year was their ability to train multilingual models. This meant you could build projects and tag data in one language, then deploy and query them for all the other languages supported. Train in English, predict in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and many others. This eased the burden of effort on customers that previously relied on machine translation, or costly data replication efforts in other languages, to support different languages for their AI solutions. With this new language expansion, enterprises now have a way to reach the world within minutes.

The custom language services also allowed you to add data of any language in a single project. This makes sure that even with the built-in multilingual capabilities, there was always a path to add data for any specific language to further improve the quality of that language.

Definition: (from Wikipedia) Locale is a set of parameters that defines the user's language, country and any special variant preferences that the user wants to see in their user interface. Usually a locale identifier consists of at least a language identifier and a region identifier.

Note: Some locales for windows in red could be incorrect (technically or geographically but they are the only way I've found to show dates properly in my XP box). Also some other coloured cells must be revised because they are not working.

Laptop and desktop keyboards come with various layouts and languages, which are specific to a given country or region. Here you'll find detailed illustrations to quickly determine which Windows keyboard layout you have. These are also the exact layouts we use on our decorative laptop keyboard stickers and language keyboard stickers.

Used by peoples speaking Inuktitut, Cree, Ojibwe, and Blackfoot languages in parts of Canada. This layout is available through Windows keyboard settings. You most likely can't easily buy a laptop/desktop keyboard with this layout. You can buy Inuktitut (Canadian Aboriginal Syllabary) keyboard stickers instead.

One reason could be:
The mother language of a user is not english and he likes to take part in this forum. Than it would be helpful to switch to the english interface, because than he could use the correct names of functions and commands.

Actually on Mac, one can switch between English and French (or any other) by changing the Language & Region preferred language (just drag it to top of list) in the System Preferences pane. Does need to relaunch SU (not the Mac)
Problem is we can install only ONE other language at install. We need many so to make translating extensions easier, by a lot !
I made 2 more installs of SU, Italian & Spanish, copied their .lproj and strings files over to my main SU. Now I can launch SU in any of the 4 languages.

Dezmo gave you the right solution, but for your interest, all of the different language downloads for Mac SketchUp 2021 are identical, they all include all of the languages. They are repeated like that on the downloads page because older versions of SketchUp were language specific. What language you get is controlled by macOS.

Just to add, you can overrule the language setting per app, as well, but it (also) has to be set in the OS system Preferences, not in SketchUp itself.
This only takes a restart of SketchUp and not a total reboot of the system.

Czech's frequent use of diacritics can be a source of confusion and frustration to native Anglophones trying to learn the language. The ubiquitous ANSI 102-key American QWERTY keyboard layout, for example, was simply never designed for the fluid typing of diacritics (or, indeed, for any Eastern European language). The following details techniques students of the Czech language can use to overcome such limitations.

The default reading order in a Qlik Sense app is left to right. You can change the reading order to right-to-left in your app preferences, for example, if your data or labels are in a right-to-left language such as Arabic or Hebrew. For more information, see Right-to-left reading order in Qlik Sense.

The following table lists how Qlik Sense detects which language to display content in based on browser or system settings. Some examples of common and supported web browsers and operating systems are listed.

Text Orientation: The orientation of the text that will be captured. This option is only used when Chinese or Japanese is set as the active OCR language. If Auto is selected, horizontal will be used when the capture width is more than twice the height, otherwise vertical will be used. The text direction also affects how furigana is stripped from Japanese text. You may also specify the text orientation in the tray icon menu or with the Text Orientation hotkey.
