Our counselor wanted me to ask if any of the other schools are
planning summer school for those students who are failing Algebra IA.
We are trying to think outside the box so that our students who are
failing Algebra IA will not be required to test in May, allowing them
to have at least six more weeks of instruction. If summer school is an
option, do you require the students to participate? Are they required
to pay? Do you provide transportation? We need all the advice we can
get as soon as possible. Thanks

You could consider doing this as Credit Recovery as well. We have
offered Algebra I credit in the past for new credit in summer school.
At our school, we have done this for second semester Algebra I.
