To echo what others have said, Thanks for the updates

Will we have a Pilot version of the EOC to give in the Spring (2010)? I understand the "real" test isn't until 2010-11

Thanks,

Sherri

There will be a field test given inthe spring....this will not count
for the student, school, or teacher.....It will be used for research
purposes only.

Also, at the Algebra II Test Item Review meeting last week, there was
much discussion about the length of this EOC during the 2010-2011
school year. I did not realize that the English I EOC had been
extended from 75 minutes to 110 minutes. The length of the Algebra II
EOC has not been determined yet, but it may be longer than the current
75 minutes.

Please post any practice tests, warmup activities, activities, or
handouts that you or your school has created for the Algebra I EOC. I
know we all would love to use it in our classes. We are giving
another practice test in three weeks. I will upload a copy of it
after we administer the exam. We are on a traditional 7-period, year-
long schedule......so our practice tests will not cover as much as you
who are on block schedule.

HS Math teacher)
One of the things I have done for my county is ordered the TCAP COACH
GOLD EDITION (has to say Gold Ed to align to new standards) These
seem to be pretty rigorous. You can find them at www.triumphlearning.com.
Also, if you go the the stem resources website www.stemresources.com
you are able to use the "Test Item Finder"....This brings up a map of
the US. According the 2009 NAEP results...MINN, MASS, ND, VT, KS,
NJ... are some of the top performing states. I seached each of these
state DOE website and found that many of them had practice Alg 1 and
Alg 2 EOC materials posted. They're in .pdf, so easy to download.
If these states are doing the best in nation, probably not a bad idea
to see how they prepare students for EOCs :)
Hope this helps....

Awesome resources, Tara! Thanks!

I'm pretty interested in hearing how well the new Coach books align to
the new standards.
