My math department is in the process of finding ways to help the
freshmen who are currently failing Algebra 1. We already are "double
dosing" with a math enrichment class for students who were identified
by their 8th grade math teachers. However, we are having trouble
determining the best way to teach this class. I found this article and
wondered if any of you have tried something like this. Whether you
have any experience with this or not, please let me know what you
think. Also, if others have a similar math enrichment class and have
found a successful approach, let me know. Thanks!
