Please see the email below and the attached announcement regarding an upcoming Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials Awareness/Operations course to be offered by the Hamilton County Fire Training Division.
The course will begin in early August and finish in March 2027 and training will be held at the Chattanooga Fire & Police Training Center.

Good afternoon!
I am pleased to announce the start date and details for our annual Hazmat and Firefighter-I program. (See Attached)
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
This year, we will be providing books for the Hazardous Materials portion of the course, and myself and Chief Clift will be the lead instructors for Hazmat as well as FF-I.
Books for the Firefighter-I portion are still required and must be provided by the departments. Same books as last year.
Please feel free to share this course information far and wide with anyone who is not included on this email.
