2025 Tennessee Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service

On behalf of the Tennessee Fallen Firefighter Memorial Board, I am honored to invite you to the 2025 Memorial Service on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

This annual service stands as a solemn reminder of the 270+ firefighters and emergency responders who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities. It is our sacred duty to ensure their names and legacies are never forgotten.

The Tennessee Fire Safety Inspectors Association is a deeply valued partner with the Memorial site. Through your support, the memorial remains a place of dignity, reverence, and remembrance for generations to come.

During the ceremony, we will not only honor the fallen but also recognize the surviving families whose loved ones gave everything in the line of duty. A highlight of the service is the reading of each name—a powerful moment of remembrance that connects us all.

If you have never attended, I strongly encourage you to join us. Visit the Tennessee Fallen Firefighter Memorial website to view the names and communities represented. If someone from your community is among them, please come stand in their honor.

We especially encourage leaders, officers, and board members from our partner organizations to attend as a visible sign of support. Please bring your firefighters, officers, and your community leaders. The service lasts only about an hour to an hour and a half, yet its impact is immeasurable.

Together, let us gather to remember, honor, and support the families of Tennessee’s fallen heroes.

Please reach out to me if you have questions or want to participate more in our efforts to support the memorial at this event or throughout the year.  We have a place and/or job for everyone interested.
