A called meeting of the Commission on Firefighting Personnel Standards & Education is being held to address a minor detail
change in the rules regarding Chapter 6, NFPA 1030 Standard Edition. In the rules that went into effect on July 1, the edition year was labeled 2023, when it should have been 2024. We are working to make this correction to ensure we remain in full compliance
with our rules.
This will be a virtual meeting held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.
There will be a room available at the FFC office, 2161 Unionville Deason Rd, Bell Buckle, TN 37020, for viewing the meeting.
