You don't often get email from tjlou...@tntech.edu. Learn why this is important

Hello Chief Solomon,

My name is Trenton Loucks, and I am a master’s student at Tennessee Technological University. I serve as the Lab Coordinator for the Responder Health Lab under Dr. Derrick Edwards, and I also work as a Thesis Graduate Coordinator at the university.

I am reaching out to ask whether you would be willing to share our survey and flyer with active firefighters and EMS personnel in your department or network.

Our lab is currently conducting an anonymous, IRB-approved survey focused on tough calls, stress, and the kinds of support that are most helpful for responders. The survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, is entirely voluntary, and is open to current firefighters and EMS personnel.

Our hope is that this work will help inform training, peer support efforts, and resources that are actually useful to crews in the field.

I have attached the flyer for convenience in case it is easier to distribute that way.

I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide in sharing this with active firefighters and EMS personnel. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Best,
Trenton J. Loucks
