Please see the email below from TBI Special Agent Ryan Shanklin regarding some upcoming fire investigations training opportunities. Links are included for more information and to register.

 

The classes are free and will be at the TBI Field Office in Jackson.

 

The Basic 40-hour class is scheduled for October 6 – 10, 2025.  

The Introductory 16-hour class is scheduled for October 18 -19, 2025.

Here is a link to our 40 hour post approved basic fire investigation class that is coming up. Also there will be a 16 introduction class October 18-19 at the Jackson Office which is also POST approved.  This weekend class is geared towards volunteer firefighters that have to work during the week. These classes will be at the Jackson TBI Field office again they are free.
