INSTRUCTOR
Aaron Gillespie
Aaron brings extensive experience in municipal and industrial emergency response, with a strong focus on training public sector and frontline personnel. He delivers training in hazardous materials, safety, and emergency response
and conducts audits for manufacturers, first responders, public works, and healthcare organizations. Aaron’s background includes leadership and operational roles as a Lieutenant/Training Officer, Firefighter/AEMT, Hazardous Materials Technician, and Safe Work
Permit Coordinator, providing him with real-world insight into high-risk environments.
He holds Fire Officer II and Fire Instructor certifications, as well as two bachelor’s degrees: one in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Emergency and Disaster Relief Response Management, and one in Information Technology. Aaron’s instruction blends practical
field experience, regulatory knowledge, and adult learning principles to deliver relevant, actionable training that supports responder safety and operational readiness.
