Please see the email below and attached letter regarding the Middle Tennessee Training Officers Association. This newly formed group’s purpose is to promote collaboration and consistency among Middle Tennessee fire departments by aligning training standards, sharing resources, and improving communication with key state fire-service agencies. Subject: Invitation to Join the Middle Tennessee Training Officers Association (MTTOA)

To: All Middle Tennessee Fire Chiefs, Training Officers, and Chief-Level Officers,

We are reaching out to invite you to join the newly formed Middle Tennessee Training Officers Association (MTTOA).

Our primary goal is to foster collaboration across our region, ensuring that all Middle Tennessee departments are on the same page regarding training standards. By uniting our efforts, we aim to streamline communications with the Firefighting Commission, TEMA, and TFACA agencies. We have already secured commitments from the Director of the Fire Commission and TEMA to provide ongoing support and regular updates, which we will disseminate directly to our membership. See the attachment for additional information.

Membership Details:

· Cost: Membership is free.

· Engagement: We will host quarterly meetings, available both in-person and virtually, to ensure accessibility for all agencies.

We believe that by aligning our standards and sharing resources, we can significantly elevate the quality of fire instruction and service across Middle Tennessee.

How to Join:

If you are interested in joining the MTTOA, please send an email to Chief Ellis, Chief Jeffereis, and Chief Miller, and we will add you to our official membership list.

We look forward to working with you to strengthen our training programs and, ultimately, the safety of our communities.

Sincerely,

Chief Randy Ellis (randy...@clarksvilletn.gov)

President

Chief Moses Jefferies IV (moses.j...@nashville.gov)

Vice-President

Chief Nicole Miller (nmi...@murfreesborotn.gov)

Secretary
