So I've been using keybr.com for a few months for practicing my typing speed. Around last week I got to the point where it doesn't have me repeating certain letters, it just has me typing an assortment of words using every letter of the alphabet. The day after that I took a vacation and didn't practice for a week. Since I've returned home my speed is stuck and my accuracy is dropping, I find myself hitting adjacent keys and forgetting where certain keys are. e.g. O, A, E, R, N, M The forced key repeating really helped me a lot. But it seems like the algorithm just stopped monitoring speed and accuracy once I hit that confidence level of one on each letter. Does anyone know if there's a way to get that function back without hitting the reset button? I really don't want to lose all my stats. I've tried using it in a different browser but when I sign in to get rid of the ads it just continues doing the same.

i have been learning to touch type and around a week ago switched from qwerty to colemak. now i've been reading about colemak-dh and want to try it, but afaict the websites i've been practicing on (typing.com and keybr.com mainly) don't offer it as a keyboard layout option. it's sad bc i really like both sites. does anyone have some good alternatives? what should i do?

Progress has admittedly been slow, and I had to switch back and forth between my new and my old keyboard to stay productive at work. I have been using keybr.com to practice typing Dvorak as it's too difficult for me to remain productive while adjusting to the new keyboard and keyboard layout. Below you can see my current progress after eight hours of practice (plus some additional time I just spent typing away on Slack with the new keyboard).

keybr.com stands out as it will start you with a small set of letters and lets you only add more letters once you've reached a certain WPM threshold. Other than that, the only thing required is time and practice.

So I went on YouTube and found a video in which a guy practiced touch typing. Since he used keybr.com to practice, I also decided to do the same. Before that, I used to type with only two fingers, but now I needed to practice touch typing (using all 10 fingers of your hand without looking at the keyboard).

I was so discouraged and thought that I would never be able to type fast but I was not giving up. I went on to keybr.com and started to practice. The good thing about Keybr is that they only give 2 or 3 letters to the users to practice at once, when the user passes a certain speed limit in those letters, they add more letters.
