As requested, I've prepared to talk about the 60s in America tomorrow.  I think we could do this topic for two classes, because there is so much to talk about.
What I'd like to do is, for the first class, talk in general about what happened in America.  Then, in the second class, I'd like to hear you compare and contrast what happened in America with what happened in China during two different periods:  1,  the Cultural Revolution; and 2, the pro-democracy demonstrations in 1989.
Attached is a lesson plan / discussion sheet / reading material.  Please, if you have time, look it over, and prepare any questions you might have.

Thank you Lance for these links.
I finally finished reading the first article, which is in Chinese.
I don't know if you noticed or not, but the second article (in English) is actually devoted to debunking the conspiracy theory -- that is, the entire page argues that we did, in fact, land on the moon.  It gives lots of detailed arguments against people who say that it never happened.

Actually, though, I do feel just a little bit embarrassed that I got so worked up in the last class.  I certainly want to encourage you to talk in class, and tell me your point of view, whether or not I agree with it.  I think that, a little bit, I tried to squelch your point of view, and I shouldn't have done that.  (My Chinese teachers do that to me all the time, and I hate it!)  It's just that, as Minda noted, this issue is a little bit closer to my heart than most.

Anyway, let's talk some more about it on Wednesday, if everybody wants.

Well, in this issue itself, I don't think my position is related to my being American.  My position is that the Moon landings were real.  I think that I have this position because I know a lot about the moon landings, I have read a lot, and the idea that they were faked is ridiculous.  I'd really encourage you to read the page that you sent me [http://www.braeunig.us/space/hoax.htm  (did we land on the moon?)].  It's a great resource for debunking the conspiracy theories.  It shows a lot of the pictures that have been called into question, and explains the anomalies.  I hope to write a short post about this on my blog today.
