Living the vida Loca  ( Life crazy)
Adept:  He is adept at making this goods( 擅长于)
Cuisine:  Eight type/style/kinds of  Cuisine  ( 烹调风格)
Capsicum/Hot pepper: 辣椒
Seasoning/Spice: 调味品(不含主料)
Ingredients: Everthing include (各种原料,包括主料)
Shollow-Frying: 煎
Pan:   平底锅
Stir-Frying: 炒
Stir a drink/榨果汁,Beat Eggs,/打蛋
Wok: 炒锅
Nutrients(营养成分)
1)Vitamins 维他命
2)Minerals   矿物质
3)Protein    蛋白质
Stewing, 蒸
Steaming, 炖
Deep Frying, 炸
You need to stow the vegs to the meat together for 40 minutes
Let's all eat this delicous stew
Fire meat chop: 炸猪排
Slice the meat into thin slices/Cut the meat into small strips: 把肉切成肉丝/肉丁
MSG=monosodium glutamate/味精
Slap: 拍(肉)
Knead: 揉(面)
You have to marinate the meat for 1/2 hour, and let the seasonings soak into the meat: 肉要腌制半个小时,才能让味道渗透到肉里面。
Spreed the bullet onto breads
Low hit: 微火
Peel the ginger:给姜去皮
Rolling Pin:擀面杖
The Middle of the slices should  be a little bit thicker than the edges: 饺子皮的中间必须比旁边厚一点
Celery: 芹菜
Leeks:韭菜
Cabbage:白菜
Agaric:黑木耳
Pinch: 捏
Strainer:漏勺

Thank you, Eric!
These are great.  I will make changes and put them onto the group page.  Please take the time to look at the revised copy, because then you'll be able to compare to your original, and see a couple of places where you made mistakes.
Also, to everyone else who attended:  because there was an awful lot of vocabulary in this class, I'd like to make a special appeal to you to write down any words that Eric missed, and send them to the group.  If you do, I'll add them into the notes page.

There are two sections on this class.First of all,we discussed what we did last weekend.Then,we talked about food.Pls find the class minutes as below:
 
Part one:words and phrases
 
1.bored: a feeling.            eg.I feel bored.
  boring: describes a thing that makes you feel bored.    
eg.I felt bored last weekend,because it was raining.
 
2.dizzy 晕
  cabin-fever    eg.I had a bad case of cabin-fever.
 
3.window-shopping
 
4.disgusting 令人厌恶的      eg.I think it's disgusting.
 
5.bug (较口语化)
  insect  (较书面化)
 
6.Things we use to cook food:
(1)pots & pans:  pan(平底锅),wok(炒锅)
(2)cookers:rice cooker,bread maker
(3)utensil(tools used in the kitchen):spatula铲,ladle(big serving spoon)汤勺,knief,fork,chopslicks筷子...
(4)stove炉,oven烤箱。
eg.I.You cook things on the stove
    II.You bake bread in an oven.
    III.You fry eggs in a frying pan.
    IV.You stir-fry food in a wok.
    V.You boil noodles in boiling water.
 
7.bake烤,fry煎,roast烘烤,boil煮,barbecue烧烤,steam蒸
 
8.ethnic food:foods from different countries.
 
9.spaghetti意大利面,pizza---Italy food.
 
10.bean豆,garlic大蒜
 
11.spices:lots of kind things you add to food to give it more flavor.eg,salt,pepper,sugar and so on.
 
12.crispy脆的
    crunchy:易脆的
eg.Peanuts are crunchy.(They are hard and break apart when you chew them.)     chewing gum口香糖
 
13.take a trip
 
14.pyramid金字塔                   nutrition营养           ingredients:the things taht the food is made from.
carbohydrates碳水化合物      protein蛋白质           muscle肌肉
 
 
Part Two:sentences
 
1.From the mountain above NanPutuo temple,you can see the scenery / a good nice view of Xiamen.
 
2.You can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink. 师傅领进门,修行靠个人.
 
3.Recipe / Procedure to make TuSundong :
(1)Put the bugs in a pot.
(2)Add water.
(3)Heat them up and cook them until they become like jelly.                            (solid固体的,liquid液体的,gas气体的)
 
4.I heard it.(it:a piece of news,a sound,a noise,an animal etc.)
   I heard about it.(it:a thing that can't hear,an event etc.)
 
 
Homework.
 
Describe how to make your favourite dish.
Use the vocabulary that we studied,including nouns for things in the kitchen,verbs for cooking methods.
