Upcoming Ordeal

Hello all,

       It has been awhile since have seen one another, with the Oyo Order approaching very soon (July 23-25th) I think it is time to talk about the benefits of attending ordeals (even if you’re brotherhood and above!). 

        For one, if you’re a ordeal member then it is the best time to complete your Brotherhood and seal your membership in the lodge. Also if you need to pay dues or turn in med forms for fellowships, forum, etc. then this is also a great time to do that!         Secondly, for those Ordeal, Brotherhood, Vigil Honor, and alike this is a wonderful opportunity to join a committee, and dip your toes into lodge leadership. Weather it’s Ritual, Communication, Elangomats, or any other of the 12 committees.

        Finally, why it is the case that parts of the weekend are devoted to the ordeal one of the other biggest parts of the ordeal is the Fellowship we share (especially Saturday night). Weather it’s patch trading (a personal favorite), playing Euchre, drinking Ski, staying up until 4 am, and most importantly getting to know new members and seasoned ones alike. This fellowship builds friendships that last a lifetime, and story’s to be told for the ages.

        So on that note consider coming to the Ordeal, or Order of the Arrow as a whole, we’re always willing to see you again.
