Tenderloin Futures Collaborative members and community at large:

Starting May 1, 2016 Tenderloin Futures Collaborative (TFC) will be suspending our monthly meetings, Michael Nulty has decided to stop moderating TFC monthly meetings. The TFC has been around for 15 years serving as a network of residents, nonprofits, and businesses updating and discussing neighborhood development issues, but our neighborhood is going through growing pains as it struggles with middle class residents, high end businesses, and market rate housing being planned for our neighborhood.

Since February, 2010 Michael Nulty brought the resources of the Alliance for a Better District 6 to assist in the daily administration and has offered his voluntary help to manage the operations. Michael has asked various non-profit groups if they would take over to facilitate and keep the meetings active. We want to recognize past agencies that have facilitated TFC meetings include: St. Anthony's Foundation, Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation, and SF Network Ministries.

Under Michael's administration TFC has established a members only Google group and Facebook page, designed meeting signs and other documents, reached out to new segments of the Tenderloin; brought the media and videotaping of the meetings to YouTube with the help of Alliance for a Better District 6 member Susan Bryan, established an independent TFC contact number, continued the meetings in a neutral and safe location, and always started the meetings on time.

Michael hopes someone or another neighborhood entity can volunteer and bring the resources to re-establish ongoing monthly meetings. Until that happens Alliance for a Better District 6 members will still post community announcements on the Facebook page. For inquires please contact (415) 820-1560 or sf_dis...@yahoo.com
