Work planned for the next two weeks

Construction Forecast: November 18 - December 2, 2016 The roadway is being narrowed from three to two traffic lanes in each direction along the Van Ness Avenue roadway for construction in the median. The lane closure starts southbound at Broadway and northbound at McAllister Street. As work progresses north and south, the lane closures will expand until the roadway is  reduced to two lanes in each direction between Lombard and Mission streets. Those who travel in and through the area are advised to take alternate routes and plan for delays. For more project details, please visit sfmta.com/vanness. Related Projects Polk Streetscape Project Construction for the Polk Streetscape Project is anticipated to be completed in six segments over a 24 month period. Construction on North Point Street from Van Ness Avenue to Larkin Street (Segment 5) and Polk Street from Vallejo Street to Beach Street (Segment 4) are currently underway. Work on Polk Street from Pine to Vallejo streets (Segment 3), Fern Alley from Polk to Larkin streets (Segment 6), Polk Street from Ellis to Pine streets (Segment 2) and Polk Street from McAllister to Ellis streets (Segment 1) is pending.  Find out more and sign up for project updates at sfpublicworks.org/polk.
