Subject: Mural volunteer opportunity this week at TNDC's Tenderloin People's Garden.
Dear Precita Eyes Muralists community,
Precita Eyes Muralists are reaching out to inform you of a volunteer opportunity to assist with their new Tenderloin People’s Garden Mural Project. We start prepping the wall this Saturday 8/6 and Sunday 8/7 (11am to 6pm). The mural is at 270 McAllister and Larkin Streets across from the Asian Art Museum. The wall is monumental 62’ H x 24’ W and requires scaffolding to reach the height. If you are interested in participating please let me know. Our schedule going forward is Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 6pm for the entire month of August and September. Volunteers should wear good shoes for climbing, paint clothes, layers for the cooler weather, bring snacks, water and your energy. We look forward to working with our volunteers and Tenderloin community to realize this unique community mural project.
